Hillary Clinton offers rare glimpse inside family's DC home
CNN ^ | 5/30/19 | Oscar Holland

Posted on 06/01/2019 10:23:07 AM PDT by Libloather

The Clintons may have left a certain Washington address almost 20 years ago, but -- unlike most of their presidential predecessors -- the family has kept a home in the US capital since leaving the White House.

Now, Hillary is offering a rare glimpse into the pair's urban retreat, after she opened the doors of the neo-Georgian residence to Architectural Digest.

A series of exclusive photographs for Architectural Digest's site show off the property's airy conservatory and sizable swimming pool. An accompanying interview also sees the former Secretary of State recalling her first encounter with the home in 2000, the last full year Bill Clinton served as president.

"It was an emotional reaction," she's quoted as saying. "When I was elected to the Senate in 2000, I knew that I needed a place to live while we were in session during the year. So I began looking."

““Why do you need more money?””

Insecure people only feel okay when they can look at their pile of material things and see that it is bigger than everyone else’s pile of material things. Unfortunately, not only is there always someone somewhere with a bigger pile, even if they had the biggest pile it wouldn’t be enough. What they are actually looking for is a sense of satisfaction and security; neither of which can be gained by the accumulation of stuff. (I could be wrong, I never had a very large pile of stuff. A reporter said to John Paul Getty, “Money can’t buy happiness.” He replied, “You just don’t know where to shop.”)

I suspect another facet of ‘covetousness’ is that the endorphins come in acquiring something, not in owning it.

Money in the bank means nothing.
Hearing that incoming ‘clink’ is the addiction.

Maybe Trump is waiting for the cutoff date to register for president to run out before he goes after the witch.

“dead broke”

A $8 million book deal fixed that:

I’ll never tire from seeing that wretched woman trip and be dragged into the van. She was unable to walk because she was either drunk or having a seizure or fit. She will never explain the fall and her continuing the campaign was the height of chutzpah...Bitch is sick.

Confiscate it, sell it and return the proceeds to the taxpayers. After all, she just caused us to blow through millions, thanks to her shenanigans.

I see CNN is still slobbering over the Clinton’s.

Hoping she will run and get elected I see.

Oh she's running, alright, after being practically invisible for months, she's now showing up everywhere. She was probably recovering from her latest plastic surgery.

Now she rears her ugly self, just waiting to come to the rescue of the Dem party, watching the clown show, and for Uncle Joe to start slobbering all over himself.

I think they have terrible taste today. Too Gowdy inside. Give it to me, I’ll make it better.

What’s super funny is......once you look at the AD link pics you can just type in Whitehaven DC on a satellite map and tell exactly which house it is. Maybe a few conservatives should picket it. Lol. Oh and she’s just a hop skip and a jump away from Bammy.

Sterile is more like it. If she has a particular ‘style’ its difficult to discern what it is. If ‘eclectic’, she fails. The only classical piece apparent to me was the large rug.

Wow, she’s found the Fountain of Youth. She’s or her look alike is 30 years younger.

The top shelf of the bookcase looks to have a WH plate and other items that probably belong the We, the People. Where are all the W computer keys?

Funny she has turned her house into the WH with a blue room, a yellow room, a red room and mementos from it. Not so funny. More scary and demented.

Yeah, I bet she spends a lot of time by the pool... making sure it isn’t dug up. Remember, when they bought the next door house, the pool was filled in and that was right about the time there was some big fiasco about documents.

There was a report at the beginning of obama’s term about his off shore bank account. That story quickly disappeared and was never mentioned again.

They also bought the Chappaqua next door neighbor’s mansion for $1.16 million just three years ago and promptly filled in the pool and installed security. Yep, dirt poor.

National HQ for their crime family. Am sure many of their “diplomatic” contacts cannot travel outside of DC.

Here a link to the pics at Architectural Digest - https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/clinton-washington-dc-home

Interesting how AD chopped off the top of the first picture of her standing by the bookcase. CNN didn't chop it off and it shows what looks very much like a White House plate. Possibly from Woodrow Wilson.
