Hurricane Dorian battered St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and brushing Puerto Rico. Taking aim at the Florida Atlantic Coastline, Hurricane Dorian is projected to be a major hurricane (Category 3) at landfall.

north of Deerfield Beach to the Volusia/Brevard County Line.
A Storm Surge Watch has also been issued from north of Deerfield Beach
to the Volusia/Brevard County Line.
A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for Lake Okeechobee.

My guess, this Chinese installation in Coopers Town won’t be there after Dorian.

Everyone should be focused on the full NHC cone of doom. Do NOT make storm preparations based on the center line OR forecast models.

Looks like he is there.Many linemen have been released and are headed home here in the states.
Can't be said often enough....
That guy posts fake videos of past hurricanes recorded somewhere else. This morning he was running a loop of “marsh harbor” until a chat told him it was already daylight in the Bahamas.
If he has any other options, shelters are pretty awful and should be a destination of absolute last resort. There are still hotels on the FL Gulf Coast with availability. Many permit cancellation within 24 hours of check-in. The FL Gulf Coast is currently outside of the NHC cone, and short distance in So FL.
