We dont yet know whether President Trump delayed some military aid to Ukraine as leverage to get Ukraines president to reopen an investigation into Hunter Biden. But if we are concerned about U.S. officials inappropriately threatening aid to Ukraine, then there are others who have some explaining to do.
It got almost no attention, but in May, CNN reported that Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) wrote a letter to Ukraines prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, expressing concern at the closing of four investigations they said were critical to the Mueller probe. In the letter, they implied that their support for U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake. Describing themselves as strong advocates for a robust and close relationship with Ukraine, the Democratic senators declared, We have supported [the] capacity-building process and are disappointed that some in Kyiv appear to have cast aside these [democratic] principles to avoid the ire of President Trump, before demanding Lutsenko reverse course and halt any efforts to impede cooperation with this important investigation.
So, its okay for Democratic senators to encourage Ukraine to investigate Trump, but its not okay for the president to allegedly encourage Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden?

Washington post?
Deep State media warning their Democrat puppets in Congress their hypocrisy on the Ukraine is out there for everyone to see, and they need to find a new line of attack on the president.
Here’s the full text of the letter the Senators wrote.
How did that get past their editors?
Marc Thiessen
That’s going to leave a mark. Hopefully.
I’m surprised this was published by the Washington Post.
I believe we can correctly assume Marv A Thiessen will be fired tomorrow for writing the above truthful sentence...
From the W/P? A shocker...............
These pointless as$holes have got to go!
They are like spoiled little lying children used to always getting over on their parents, and they try one ridiculous scenario after another.
ENOUGH OF THIS HORSESHIT!
I don’t see the inappropriateness of delaying the payment of taxpayer money to anyone if there is evidence of crimes having been committed, particularly if those crimes were committed by American officials who have a fiduciary duty to handle taxpayer money in an ethical manner, and to avoid even the appearance of impropriety!
Radio talk show host says that “If it weren’t for double standards, the Democrats/media/leftists would have no standards”.
I love Chris but disagree. The correct description of them re “standards” would go like this:
“If it weren’t for NO STANDARDS, the Democrats would have no standards”.
If you don’t have standards in the beginning, the rest is irrelevant (i.e. the truth, facts, accuracy, context, etc).
They got Biden on film bragging about his bribe/extortion to protect his drug addicted spawn; but it’s somehow Trump’s fault.
This can only end in Civil War if they keep this up.
