Funny thing, other seat teams were able to get bad guys from behind barricades without destroying a house.
Why is that?
What’s so speshul about these guys that they must destroy the house and why does it make that okay?

Don't be a jerk. I read the whole story....did you miss the line "and was firing at officers with a handgun"?

Still doesn't sound like the public-at-large was in danger... and ignoring all of that, yes: I think the innocent homeowner is entitled to compensation for his loss.
