The target of Democrat zealots in the House of Representatives led by Speaker Pelosi and Adam Schiff is to impeach and remove President Donald Trump. Sadly for him, the person they have a much higher probability of removing from his lofty perch is Chief Justice John Roberts. The famous cliché, the law of unintended consequences, is fast approaching. In an earlier American Thinker blog post, I asked a very simple question of Supreme Court chief justice John Roberts: Mr. Chief Justice, what did you do about the fraud on your Court? He and he alone "owns" the FISC, so he must be held accountable for any court actions.

The Senate can remove Roberts if he doesn’t step down, per law.
its obvious that Roberts has been blackmailed. it is thought to be over an illegal adoption. if there is not anything other then the threat of taking his kids away the black mail possibilities started to disappear years ago and today his children are adults so taking the kids and sending them to Ireland just is not effective. at this point you could have a very angry judge siting on the court not caring about the constitution just wanting to screw over the one that blackmailed him. if that’s the case I would be scared if I was involved in the blackmail... this is not good even if it would just be karma. The best thing that could happen is that Chief justice Roberts retires. The next best is that he hands over the title of Chief Justice and lets another over see the supreme court and impeachment.
Roberts won’t recuse himself. I don’t think FISC or FISA will be considered in the articles of impeachment.
They won't even bring it up.
They are not popes. I imagine they could make an agreement, but I am pretty sure if he was “out”, Trump would never re-appoint him, no matter what “agreement” they had.
I hope that Senate Republicans have the testicular fortitude to bring that up and talk about it all day long. I’d like to see Sen. Lindsey Graham do it, but Sen. Mitch McConnell would work for me, as well.
The most common blackmail against Republicans and conservatives is exposing them as queers.
I think of it as RobertsCare. He gave the deciding vote. I’ll never forget the look on his face when he called it “a Tax.” His body language said it all.

I always have a problem with names.
I once had a customer named Charles Thomas.
My prize public screw up was in introducing two people to each other. Got the names backwards, although I had known them for years, which essentially meant I introduced each of them to themselves.
Actual;;ly I am a great admirer of Clarence Thomas and I would be pleased to see him become the Chief Justice.
Pickle, schmickle . People, keep your eyes on the ball. The Senate is NOT a court. They will set their own rules of procedure. Roberts, for good or ill, WILL preside over any Senate trial
I think the Chief Justice only oversees the impeachment proceedings. He doesn’t really set the rules or have a vote. Points of order and progress are all he deals with. That’s what I think. I don’t believe this will be a trial in a pure sense of the thing. I believe Chief Justice Roberts is compromised, but, I don’t think he can sway the up or down vote for acquittal much. I may be wrong just saying what I think.
And? We don’t run the country and our rules only apply when those who run the country want them to be applied. They won’t want this so it is as if it didn’t happen.
Obama was not a legal American and nothing happened ever. Most Americans think he was born in Hawaii. Facts and justice are secondary to keeping deep state control over us and our resources.
The People have little control. The constitution only applies when the oligarchy can use it to their advantage.
I wish I didn’t sound bitter. I still pray for the USA. At least the powers are so overconfident they play themselves out a lot.
DC will shrug their collective shoulders and execute the messengers.

If Roberts is disqualified then Thomas would not be CJ, but would preside over the senate trial as the senior associate justice
