House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) wrote to President Donald Trump Friday, giving him until Friday, Dec. 6., to answer whether he and his lawyers would participate in the “impeachment inquiry.”

Nadler added that Trump is being investigated for obstruction of justice, relating to actions described by Mueller in the second volume of his report, though Mueller did not recommend prosecution and Attorney General William Barr rejected obstruction charges against Trump on the merits.

Nadler has invited the president and his counsel to call and question witnesses, in accordance with the House resolution authorizing the impeachment inquiry last month — though the president was not allowed to do so in the Intelligence Committee inquiry. However, Nadler and the Democratic majority on the committee can overrule requests for witnesses.
In addition, the House Rules Committee warned last month that Nadler would be allowed to limit the president’s ability to call witnesses if he does not provide witnesses and documents the committee wants.

Trump would be adding legitimacy to this clown show and should ignore Nadler. He hasn't even been charged with anything so why show up to defend himself against something he didn't do?
Remember, Nadler didn't get the original call to run the impeachment inquiry out of the Judiciary Committee because he screwed up the Mueller Report sideshow so badly. That's why Pelosi gave the nod to Schitt-For-Brains in the Intelligence Committee. Which he proceeded to screw up himself anyway.

Fat Nads has already started off on the wrong foot, by alleging obstruction of justice that Mueller cleared Trump of. He will continue to overreach and screw this impeachment witch hunt up too.
Trump needs to keep his powder dry if, and until, this mess gets sent to the Senate for trial. Then he can destroy them. There's still a good chance there won't be any articles of impeachment voted on in the House before this is over with.

If Schiff couldn’t do it, there’s not a chance Nadler will succeed where he failed.
Democrats don’t have a motive, a crime and a victim. Three things you have to have to stick it to the defendant.
The fact they can’t even tell us what the President did, when he did it and who was hurt speaks volumes about this farce.
They found a lot of maybes, conjectures and assumptions but when you put them all together, none of them rise to the level of an impeachable offense.
You need facts to get there and the Democrats don’t have facts and they don’t have a case.

I know that I don’t understand the dangers in doing this but it seems to me that if the democrat’s want a show trial then let them do it...let them do everything that is underhanded give them the rope to hang themselves on this. put on a defense where it points out the lack of customary rules being fallowed... this is political and its all about the dems trying to convince the public. the trick is to lift the veil to show the Dems to the public conducting a trial that no one would think was fair. most people today rely on talking heads and wont watch . talking heads cant help but try and show how smart they are; it will be this group that actualy damage the houses attempt to impeach by either over stating points or seeing anything they think will make them look good. there goal is to control the narrative but at this point narrative cant be controlled. this will cause contradiction between those commenting and in turn Cause the case to look more and more like a stealing of the presidency
