BEIJING (AP) — China is swiftly building a hospital dedicated to treating patients infected with a new virus that has killed 26 people, sickened hundreds and prompted unprecedented lockdowns of cities home to millions of people during the country's most important holiday.
On the eve of the Lunar New Year, transportation was shut down Friday in at least eight cities with a total of about 25 million people. The cities are Wuhan, where the illness has been concentrated, and seven of its neighbors in central China's Hubei province: Ezhou, Huanggang, Chibi, Qianjiang, Zhijiang, Jingmen and Xiantao.
The Wuhan government said Friday it was building a designated hospital with space for 1,000 beds in the style of a facility that Beijing constructed during the SARS epidemic.

That theory is floating around the interwebs but I haven’t taken it seriously at this point. These things happen naturally.
My guess is the cover-up is they’re downplaying the numbers drastically. They waited several weeks before even admitting the virus existed and MANY people have travelled to and from China since it started.
They better get an environmental impact study first or else....oh wait, wrong country.
Yeah this is sounding like something very nefarious WTH, the hysteria and actions being taken for a virus seems WAY OVER THE TOP!!! Something else is definitely going on here!!!!

The patient here in Washington is being treated by a robot, it’s the only way to maintain quarantine of this one patient. The 16 people he came into contact with are being closely “monitored”. I’ll bet they are quarantined as well.
The passenger at LAX came in from Mexico City, so if it’s there......it will spread very rapidly.
Wait until it gets into India.

The commies can live with a cover up of a natural outbreak being uncovered. Hence the deflection to have this appear a naturally occuring virus. But if it is lab created, and a cover up is uncovered, it could bring the commies down. And they know it.

My best guess is they’re downplaying the numbers drastically. They kept this quiet for several weeks. Now it’s bad enough they’re putting huge cities on lockdown. You don’t do that just because a total of 26 people have died. I think the numbers are much higher.
But there’s no telling what they’re covering up. Lying is something they do on a regular basis.
From what I understand they do have a lab that studies some of the world’s most dangerous pathogens and one could have escaped. Accidentally or on purpose, who knows? We’ll probably never know the truth.
Man-made? I dunno. There are plenty of nasty natural viruses out there that there are no cures for. I’m just not going down the man-made road yet.
What’s the reasoning behind letting it go on purpose?
