CHILLING colourised photographs of prisoners at Auschwitz capture the true horrors of the Nazi's 75 years after the camp's liberation.
The harrowing images show skeletal Auschwitz inmates, discarded bodies and haunting images of belongings such as false teeth and glasses snatched on arrival from those arriving at the camp.
Sadness and a skeletal frame - this was often all that was left of victims of the holocaust
Many of those killed at the camp were children, with 23,000 under the age of 18 being sent there between 1940 and 1945
Many were subjected to cruel beatings before finally being sent to the gas chambers to die

There was a big old tavern across the road from where I grew up.
Charles Serig and his wife Ellen owned it.
They both had camp tattoos.
I was just a little kid but they treated me very well.
They were constantly smiling, despite their past and I didn’t understand the tattoos until I was older.
Mr Serig always gave me a cheeseburger and Orange Crush when my dad went there to play pool.
No idea how they wound up out here in the wilderness of hillbilly heaven but I’m glad they did.
The British started bombing German cities in May of 1940; Coventry was bombed months later. There seems to be plenty of evidence the Britain started a bombing campaign against civilians long before Germany did.
The Cleansing, when it comes, will be Old Testament in scope and nature.

That was one difficult book to read.

There is an interview where Geddy Lee talks about it.
His grandmother, mother and other siblings were there.
The Nazi's used to go down the morning count of prisoners counting off 1,2,1, etc. So every other person would get sent to the gas chambers.
His grandmother lined up the family every-other one. His mother says something like “She said we'll either live together, or we will die together. But either way, none of us will be left alone.”
In that same interview it was interesting the varying views of God.
Geddy said that it is one more case against there being a God. “How could a good God let this happen?”
The questioner asks Geddy about his mom's fate. He replies something like”
“Oh she is even a stronger Jew. Going through such horror - God kept her going.
Geddy’s parents met in Bergen Belsin as teens. They were seperated (the boy sent to a work camp.) Shortly after the war they somehow tracked each other down (Auschwitz iirc). They were married in the camp soon after.
I think all kills of Germans during that war were effectively humane.
I’ve been going to the same eye doctor most of my life. Every time I get an eye exam, I can’t help but notice the concentration camp tattoo on his forearm. He’s in his 80’s and still working. He must have been a kid when he was in the camps.
And the left compares this to us enforcing our immigration laws. They see the Holocaust as such a small event that they would dare compare it to us housing, clothing, feeding and giving free medical care to people who break our immigration laws.
No they didn’t. The Germans bombed London first - just as they bombed Warsaw and Rotterdam first before that. Bombings of German cities were ordered by Churchill in retaliation. When British bombers first flew over Germany at the beginning of the war all they dropped were leaflets.
That is a gutting, blood chilling, utterly horrifying tale.
Every time some liberal idiot calls us “Nazis” I wanna punch them in the throat.
How dare they even *think* to compare that unimaginable evil to people who simply do not vote as they do?
Not to mention that it completely minimizes the REAL horror of what those people suffered.

This is something that just really pisses me off.
Not sure why you’d drag the civil war into this but do you imagine Point Lookout was the Hilton?

And MANY of them initially believed that Hitler was a ‘joke’, wasn’t serious, etc. I’m sure every adult Jew in Europe heard the warnings from the relative handful of other Jews: “This is it!” “He’s coming for us” “We’re all going to die”.
And then, due to a combination of the following (known as Normalcy Bias):
1) Convinced it “cannot happen here”, since German society is the most cultured and sophisticated the world has ever seen...plus it never happened before
2) Not being able to bring most of their wealth with them...so having to start from scratch if they leave
3) Not wanting to leave everything and everyone they knew
4) And simply thinking that the people screaming that the sky is falling are a bunch of kooks.
And then, as the one-way trips to the camps began, but things don’t make sense. They’re told they’re being moved for their own safety, but why aren’t any letters being sent back, why isn’t anyone, just one or two people coming back for a short visit? Where are they? They seemed to just disappear off the planet.
And finally they realize that it’s time to go - the kooks actually did have it right. But the door is now shut, not even the United States will take them. Their only hope is to do what they’re told and hope they can ‘ride it out’. And, maybe, 1% do...the ones lucky enough to be picked up just before surrender day (as opposed to well before that time).
Perhaps the MOST IMPORTANT thing that separates us from Leftists and NeverTrumpers is that we DO NOT think the United States is immune from the possibility of a bad ending, just as ‘the sky is falling’ bunch didn’t think Germany was immune from the same in the 1930s. Personally, I was CONVINCED that had Skunk Cabbage won in 2016, she would have done whatever the hell she wanted to the country and to us (the people she learned to despise and hate, back from her college days, or before). She would have had the courts, she may have had Congress (but that didn’t matter, as the her courts would have neutered Congress, making them symbolic only...just like the House of People’s Deputies, or whatever they called their ‘Congress’ in the Soviet Union), there was nothing but an armed uprising that could, maybe, stop her. But an uprising like that wouldn’t be as easy as some here think. There are enough people who hate us Deplorables (both here and from overseas), and she could pull them together, arm them, and get to work, using them as her army (as happens very often in other countries).
I had a plan to get out, and was working on the process prior to Trump winning...my wife, being an immigrant, simply couldn’t believe it could happen here (even as conservative as she is) - to her the United States was and always will be the country she saw on the Brady Bunch, when she was growing up overseas. I get that, understanding the details of our politics and its weaknesses is rare enough for Americans, and next to impossible for those who don’t speak English as a first language. But my well-educated parents...Democrats, think I’m out of my mind when I told them that yes, I was ready to pack up and never see this country again. They thought: “We’re the United States, it can never get THAT BAD here. You’re crazy to think that.”, and hence there was no downside in voting for Skunk Cabbage, or her winning.

Because Democrats were like the Nazis during the Civil war and Point lookout was nothing like Andersonville. Over 3 times as many soldiers died at Andersonville and many were murdered on purpose. Just like the Nazis concentration camps, Democrats also has a “dead line” at Andersonville. Anyone crossing it or even coming close to it was immediately shot dead.
Some idiots say “well that was then, get over it” and those same liberal idiots keep bringing up slavery in the US demanding recompense.
