I’ve took it that Klobuchar is running for veep, in case they get a leftist, ethnic/minority male at the top of the ticket and want a female, moderate counterbalance from the Midwest.
Had she shown better as a candidate, she’d have been perfectly positioned for that.

More than a few great musicians learned close harmony singing by listening to their records. To take just one example, Paul McCartney acknowledged his debt to the Everlys in “Let ‘Em In.” Simon and Garfunkel learned harmony singing by imitating the Everlys’ records. And so on.

I don't know if any of the AP's info is accurate. But her twists and turns to avoid Wallace's questions showed a side of her displayed before, when she asked Kavanaugh petty and immaterial questions. Most Liberals, no matter their personal disposition, can always be counted on to push for results without carefully examining the consequences- before or after the fact. Klobuchar appears to be no exception.
