The FBI has been ruining lives for a long time. It needs to be totally shut down ands current employees should be banned from ever holding a government job. There are no good guys there.
If you havent seen Clint Eastwoods movie, do so.
I lived through that whole thing here in Atlanta. What the FBI did to that poor man was inexcusable. Never for one second did I think he was guilty. Thats when I lost all respect for the FBI and realized they are really just a bunch of thugs and morons.
bttt
Can you say “George Zimmerman”?
The FBI also messed up the Anthrax investigation, anybody remember that?
They were sure that some former gubmint health worker had the anthrax....THEY EVEN DRAINED THE GUY’S POND!!! The FBI was wrong because like Richard Jewell, they took the easiest route.
FBI...used to be respected but now the Keystone Kops are better at law enforcement.
Don Johnson, the FBI lead investigator in the case who tried to railraod Jewell, was eventually suspended for violating Jewell’s rights. When Johnson returned to duty, FBI agents lined the halls to give him a standing ovation.
These are the guys signing petitions against William Barr.
When they tell you that 95% of the agents are honest, don’t believe it.
James Kalstrom, who repeatedly lied everywhere, not completely at the behest of Clintons re-election team in 1996!
The fbi has been entrusted with immense power. It can deprive a person of liberty and cause him to go to jail for life. This power must be used responsibly, or else the members of the fbi must go to jail for life as their innocent victims have done.
I’ve always believed that the Olympic bombing was an inside plot designed to draw attention and blame away from the TWA flight 800 disaster, and that fall guy Richard Jewel literally became the fall guy with his serendipitous discovery of the bomb providing the conspirators with “the” likely suspect.
Many people like to tell us that 99.9999% of the FBI agents in the field are among the finest, most moral people on earth. The recent corruption in the FBI just involved the top tier or two in DC. Looking back at the Richard Jewell case, that doesn’t seem to be the reality.
I do believe that a good majority of the agents are fine people, but I’m afraid the corrupt percentage is much higher than most want to believe. 10% corruption could create problems throughout the agency.
