A Dallas salon owner will spend a week in jail after she was found in contempt of court Tuesday for violating a court order to close her salon during the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the jail time, Shelley Luther was fined at least $3,500 for continuing to operate her business, Salon à la Mode, in violation of a temporary restraining order issued against the business.

It doesn’t matter what she looks like. I know you guys do this for fun, but this is a serious matter. They have let hundreds of real criminals out of jails and then put this woman who is only trying to make a living and keep her employees hired in jail? Nope. You folks in Dallas are spineless to let that go on there.

Today when Trump spoke from Honeywell he talked about how many masks we are making. How many ventilators we are making. And that we had an incredible economy until one day they came and told him to shut it down. I do believe I’ve heard it all about a thousand times.

So by locking her up in the jail, she will likely contract COVID 19, maube they will even make suree by putting her in the general population. The Governor should step into this before things get even worse.

She has an attorney. He seemed surprised by the judge - wouldn’t let the attorney argue her case, no bail blah blah. This isn’t over yet IMO. Constitution vs a bunch of governors. I thought only Congressional bodies could make Laws. Rulings by others?
Shelly Luther obeyed the commands for over a month, received no $ or help, needed money to feed her kid.
