RUSH: Meanwhile, you’re not gonna see this stat in the media today. What you’re seeing in the media today is an all-out effort at creating — in your mind — the apocalypse.
They are going full tilt trying to convince you that the number of cases is multiplying geometrically, the number of deaths is multiplying geometrically, that all of these states opening up are irresponsible. Red state governors are gonna get you killed! It is the biggest… They’re in a full tilt effort here to try to get these governors to re-shut down the states that have opened.
They are full tilt trying to make sure this country goes back to lockdown. They are citing numbers and stats on out-of-control infections, out-of-control cases, out-of-control deaths, and they’re just making it up. “‘Novel coronavirus deaths in the United States rose by 1,015 in the past 24 hours, a tally by Johns Hopkins University showed Monday — the lowest one-day figure in a month,'” AFP reported. It’s the lowest one-day death toll figure in a month, but we can’t let a good crisis go to waste.
So, now we’re gonna go talk about 3,000 deaths a day, and we’re gonna talk about all kinds of hell descending over America because we’re opening up.

RUSH: So, the U.S. has recorded the lowest one-day virus death toll in a month. Now, it’s still high. It’s 1,014 or 1,015, but it’s not the 3,000. There’s pure activism, and they’re doing their level best to convince you that reopening our economy is a mistake that’s gonna kill you and gonna kill your family, and they’re trying to pressure these states that have opened up to go back into lockdown. They’re using fake and phony numbers that even Dr. Birx had to come out and disavow.
We can’t go on the way we were going, and it ought to tell everybody a lot. Take a look at who it is that wants to keep this country shut down and economically dead.
And then a day later the death count nearly doubled, and it appear to be headed that way today. States are going to spike the numbers for reasons that benefits them.
Shutting down the nation was simply unconstitutional, virus or not.
Fauci said this will only end when there are no new cases and no deaths. The guy is a nut.
Most have been noticing a pattern developing.
Low counts on Sunday and Monday with it going up Tuesday through Saturday.
Been that way for pretty much three weeks.
A friend of mine posted this on facebook..now I cannot confirm this is true but seeing what is going on this does NOT surprise me one bit...
Spoke with a friend of mine who works in DC. He is sick to his stomach everyday he goes to work. He said democrat congress members are literally giddy with the results the virus is having on the economy. They eagerly compare unemployment and market numbers every morning in the halls, offices and over phone conferences, laughing and mocking Trump as they watch the economy he built crumble. They are actually excited about what the virus is doing to America during an election year and the opportunities it presents to go after Trump. He said that their intention is to drag the shutdown out as long as possible in order to crash the economy (Trumps strength) right before the election to make Trump look bad. He said Pelosi is ordering/threatening democratic state governors to keep their states shutdown as long as possible assuring them they will be rewarded when they take the Senate and White House.
All at the expense of America.
Exactly, I don’t trust the death counts. Democrats can’t count votes in Iowa. I seriously doubt they can count bodies.
Rush was not up to speed on the “Sunday” thing.

Yup. I’d hope that Rush knows a bit better than this and realizes he’s just polishing a turd for the listeners.
Less deaths for one day is a good thing, but the only reason it’s news is that it proves the exception to the rule saying. It’s “dog bites man”.
I expect Rush wouldn’t bet the farm on a stock that only goes up one day a year.
The US daily deaths have a clear weekly pattern: lowest on weekends then spike midweek (Tuesday/Wednesday)

Data should be reported in full context, regardless of the person’s view on CV.
Rush can (and should) do better.

I’m just tired of hearing about the fornicating virus. All day, every day. Over and over and over, usually just variations of the same spiel. Numbers numbers numbers. Numbers up, numbers down. People at each other’s throats because some have a differing opinion. Virus is fading, then the next day headlines talk of a CERTAIN 2nd, 3rd, & 4th wave. Doom doom doom. Hope must be quashed. Bleak future. Horrible future. No future. Pres. Trump is toast. Pres. Trump will win in a landslide. Pres. Trump constantly attacked by the Left.
