Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones spoke up in the public debate to reopen the capital region and California, urging local officials to reopen the economy and let people go back to work in a post to his Facebook page Wednesday.
It is time, he said. It is time to let people out of their houses and responsibly open the economy, to let businesses thrive and employees and former employees get back to work.

“Not everything funded by taxes is bloat”.
“no cop to come when a house gets broken into”, nearest cop is about 6 hours + away from me, so not much use, I can file my own report.
“no road repairs”, when was the last time you saw a road repair in California?
“no crew to fix the street lights”, nearest street light to me is about 27 miles away, so I don’t give a damn about them!
“Not everything funded by taxes is bloat or a luxury that we can afford to lose”.
Your right, not everything funded by taxes is BLOAT, ONLY ABOUT 98.6 PERCENT IS WASTEFUL BLOATED GOVERNMENT programs for the weak and insecure.

It is not a one step consideration. Not enough law enforcement and things will get ugly. They will be getting ugly anyhow. I don’t think most people fully grasp how difficult this is going to get.

Im so damn tired of this crap. I dont care anymore, sorry. We have to get back to our lives.NOT YET. There is MORE to be done, more NEEDS to be done.
Sure, 85% of the population will weather this fine if they are exposed but we must remain locked down to protect the balance of people who won't be so lucky. By staying apart, we will prevent herd immunity from happening and make everyone need vaccination. If you care more about others than yourself, you too will stay at home, you will wear your mask at all times, even when alone outside.
If we all stick together and keep this going, we can cause such severe economic damage that President Trump will be soundly defeated in November. We can implement radical changes such as voting by mail. We can control what businesses open, what businesses pay their employees, we can even control what people eat.
This is for your own good. With the coming vaccine registry, we will tell you what vaccines to get, what travel you can make, what doctor visits you must schedule, we can even tell you how much you are allowed to save.
We cannot let this crises go to waste! /sarc

I think law enforcement nationwide is starting to get a bit nervous about the “thin blue line” quickly becoming a “no blue line”. The people are getting very restless. This, coupled with the over reaction by the police and judge in Dallas putting the owner of a salon in jail is the beginning of the breaking point.
To: gunsequalfreedom
I dont think most people fully grasp how difficult this is going to get.
I agree.

do you have a better link
the link you provided does not go to the article
you get a page where they want you to sign up for a subscription
you can say never mind, but then the best you can do is go to the homepage, but you cannot find the article from there
