he Justice Department has moved to dismiss its criminal case against Michael Flynn, President Trump's first national security adviser who pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators.

In a motion filed in U.S. district court in Washington on Thursday, federal prosecutors asked a judge to toss out with prejudice the single count of making false statements to the FBI, saying that "continued prosecution of this case would not serve the interests of justice." The Justice Department said the government "concluded that the interview of Mr. Flynn was untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI's counterintelligence investigation" and that "it is not persuaded that the January 24, 2017 interview was conducted with a legitimate investigative basis."

Personally, I'm hoping it's just the first act. In words of my 8 year old nephew, "The guilty must suffer!"

Now, go after the FBI officials involved, every one of them. That is what THEY would do to a company involved in wrong doing. They would not rest until they got every one. Go after them Trump!!!

Fire Wray. He keeps defending these people and stonewalling all efforts to reform the FBI.

Ok, so the FBI sleazebags essentially, if not legally, bankrupted Flynn. Months of his life fighting this legal battle cannot be replaced and his reputation has been ruined in the eyes of many. How is LT General Flynn going to be made whole? Are the snarky FBI scum secretly claiming a victory since they ruined a man’s life? Are those pieces of schiff going to prosecuted for civil rights violations and made to rot in jail?

He needs to sue his first law firm. Eric Holder’s law firm in fact. Should be good advertising for the firm.

So who is going to pay General Flynn for the millions he’s lost, his house he lost and for losing everything he’s worked to accumulate in his life?
Not to mention the stress shame aggravation that he’s suffered the last 3 years?
A major lawsuit needs to happen.
Some people in the FBI/DOJ Crime Family need to spend the rest of their lives in jail.

toss out with prejudice the single count of making false statements to the FBI

So for those asking earlier if it was better for the DoJ to withdraw or to have the judge dismiss, it would seem that its both, and Flynn can not be charged later for this.

He should sue the DOJ/FBI for wrongful prosecution, etc and the sue all of the players individually for lots and lots of money. Then perhaps he should go after the media???
