With the Justice Department announcing Thursday that it would drop the case against Michael Flynn, officials close to President Donald Trump are already gaming out ways to bring the former national security adviser back onto the national political stage.
“Years ago when Nelson Mandela came to America after years of political persecution he was treated like a rock star by Americans,” John McLaughlin, one of President Trump’s chief pollsters, told The Daily Beast on Thursday evening. “Now after over three years of political persecution General Flynn is our rock star. A big difference is that he was persecuted in America.”
Flynn’s career has been defined by remarkable highs and humiliating lows, having gone from a well-respected intelligence official to an outcast in the Obama administration, to a top surrogate for an insurgent Trump campaign to a disgraced but cooperative witness in the Mueller probe. A forthcoming chapter as a redeemed MAGA hero would seem, in some regards, almost appropriate.

That is a great honor, to be wanted on the Trump Team by our president. However, if I was Flynn, I would want to get whatever money I had coming to me, gather my family, and get out of Washington for good. He and his family have been through the wringer. No interviews, no nothin!
I used to think Gen. Petreaus (remember him?) got a raw deal back in 2012. That pales next to this three and a half year slow grind of governmental BS.
And maybe Flynn feels totally different than that.
It’s his life and his personal experience, not mine.
Put him in charge of justice task force to prosecute the Deep State.
I have a feeling Flynn will be back, pay back is quite a good motive.
That means he is VP material! :-)

Any payback will be easier if Atty. Gen. Barr does not get in the way of Karma. I haven’t figured A.G. Barr out quite yet.

Well, except for Flynn isn't a racist communist terrorist.
Need to see Congressional Republicans throw a celebration and rub Democrat noses in their own droppings.
The Mueller lawyers need to be brought up on charges and considered for disbarment. And that thread needs to be pulled and pulled until Mueller, Rosenstein, and the rest are pulled into the fire they created.
Seriously, there needs to be accountability.
Tomorrow we can pray to see start a revealing of the truth on Schiff.
But again none of this matters if there are no consequences.
The Nation cannot have closure until justice is served.
But one thing is good and clear, General Flynn is free. I would be in total admiration of him if after a little time, when the iron is at the right temperature, he goes on the offense and works to prosecute the persecutors as a part of turning the tables on the traitorous snakes we have had to endure for many years now.
