That's why there are riots.

Civilians are destroyed through the abuse of "due process" for it costs the prosecutors nothing to prolong proceedings infinitely, and they are immune from suit for lying and hiding evidence (see Michael Flynn and the FBI).

Government agents who are accused, are exempted even from the rigors of going through the process, let alone criminal prosecution.

Even in many open and shut cases.

If you *were* laughing, you wouldn’t have responded in that fashion.

*Heavy leftist mass media coverage of “Pants up don’t shoot” riots in the summer of 2016 (ahead presidential election), to rile up plantation voters and left-wing districts.

The marxist doesn’t simply “not let a crisis go to waist”, they pour huge resources, money, and organization (logistics, banners, etc...) into creating the crisis!

Officially, nearly 20 “black on black” deaths, and near 60 “black on black” wounded in just Chicago and Baltimore over the last weekend, and not even a peep!

I have no tolerance for abusive power.

It was not my intention to conflate “due process” with the rogue processes the permit the abuses you referenced.

Floyd’s death is heartbreaking, and not much different then Gardner’s death. But the details matter, and should be prosecuted in the court of law — not the court of public outrage.

Heh.

Let me know when any *guilty* government official ever has his life destroyed.

Innocent officials and Republicans don't automatically count.

Nine straight minutes of uncut video from six feet away, including (apparently) the very moment of death, which blow the F*** out of the usual cop's lying through their teeth defenses "feared for my life" "reaching for my weapon" "threat to others" "resisting" "very dangerous situation" etc. etc.

mean that the usual "sweep it under the rug" of subhuman lying corrupt feudal lord officials, won't cut it.

Floyd George died without due process in a way the Supreme Court would rule unconstitutional for someone who raped a toddler to death.

Letting the police walk, when it is quite clear he was under their custody (therefore their job to take care of him by established judicial precedent already known in this Federal Circuit, to blow away the damnable lie of qualified immunity), and he died instead under their knee...won't cut it.

No matter what baldfaced lies about incompetence and excuses are proffered as to why the prosecution dropped the ball.

Not disagreeing with the inequity, but to cast the boiling injustices upon these cops without due process is unwise.

I’ve expressed my discontent with public unions on many occasions. I often complain about the telecom subscriber base that supports Leftwing media. But I’ve learned that most would rather bitch about the asshole in front of the camera or the corner cases that involve the likes of Floyd. Few give a shit about the nuts & bolts of what’s really going on.

I hear you. Notwithstanding further evidence, my position is: manslaughter.

G’night, FRiend.

Shut up.

Once you are in police custody, they have custodial duty towards you, unlike even a 911 call, where the courts have ruled they have NO affirmative duty towards you whatsoever.

That means any harm to you, is their responsibility.

Refusing to seek medical care for a handcuffed man who says he can't breathe: and keeping your knee on his neck for 2 1/2 minutes after his bladder and bowels have let go?

Brain death takes 4 minutes without oxygen.

The thug's knee was on his neck for 9 minutes.

Depraved indifference at best.

Open and shut deprivation of civil rights under color of law, especially if a bunch of police experts come forward and say how dangerous a knee to the neck is.

Any lawyer with an IQ above 25 could get murder 2; a clever one could get murder one -- either by the fact they posted a lookout to keep bystanders from helping the guy, or the knee on the neck after the bowels and bladder let go (police are trained you know, as they often are first responders to traffic accidents), or if there is evidence of a feud between the dead guy and Mr. Kneecap.

If the cops walk, the Reginald Denny riots / OJ riots / you name it, will be a walk in the park ; even without Soros/DNC/Antifa help.

Yeah, global warming no doubt.

If a civilian had his knee on a cop's neck for 9 minutes, and the cop died, you wouldn't be crowing in your joyous haste to concoct any possible excuse no matter how farfetched, and then demand exoneration.

Intent plays crucially into any criminal charge.

Especially emailing classified information.

Well yeah because that would be an intentional murder for sure there’s no reason why a person would have to have an interaction with a cop and put their knee on the back of a cop’s neck unless they were trying to kill the cop.
Where this case cops use that technique to restrain people that’s part of what they do and I’m not sure whether or not the knee directly caused his death or whether it indirectly caused his death as in it triggered an underlying medical issue or if drugs caused his heart to over work and killed him. so we’re talking about the difference between 1st degree murder and manslaughter. I think that’s what we’re discussing here.
I agree in that once the guy had his hands cuffed behind his back and there were other cops around there’s no reason to keep him pressed down to the ground. I guess we’ll have to wait for the autopsy completely comes back then know for sure.

Defendants have a right to request a judge instead of a jury.
