Yes, it could make a big difference. It could make a big difference as to individual officers. Hypothetically, suppose that the autopsy comes back and says that the victim died from a drug overdose and not from the way the police officers handled him physically. Thats not murder. They probably couldnt even prove assault. Again, Im not making any firm conclusions. Until I see an autopsy, and until I see a video of what happened that prompted the officers to be on top of this guy, Im withholding judgment.
I’m sure the autopsy will be detailed in the injuries sustained in the back and neck area. If they are not as substantial as speculated, it might also point to another cause of death.
If the cops are convicted and sentenced to death, you will protest their innocence.
