Thanks for posting this, however I’m really disappointed that I now cannot read entire articles from the Epoch Times until I open an account with them. Wish I could read this entire article... looks interesting.

Simple solution. Create a FAKE account.
They want an email address so they can tie into for marketing purposes. that's how they make money.
Simply create a Pseudo name.. create a pseudo Gmail address.. and sign up. They're now happy because they have an email address to send to and interact with.
Use the same email to create an account anywhere else they don't allow you to read news without an account.
Now and then open your Gmail account in your browser and empty the SPAM email your account has received.

Download and install the browser extension Reader View from here:

Then click on the Epoch Times site, then click on the Reader View icon in your browser. Problem eliminated.
Reader View does a great job of getting around paywalls and avoiding popups and ads. But doesn’t work for all.
