Democrats can turn off their A/C and we’ll be fine. I’m going to keep mine going and stay cool until they flip the switch.

If only they had harnessed the power of cow fart methane like they had talked about!

I ‘conserved’ last month and they still cut my power for 5 hours when it was clicking hot outside.
Knowing they will do it again had me turn the AC on at 8am and it stays on until I am comfortably asleep tonight.
Or I go to my brothers house where he spent 70K on a Tesla battery wall this year to protect his freezer and refrigerators.
Democrats have soiled their nest here in CA...and did I mention gas is $3.25 today?

California is now just another sh*thole no better than the sh*tholes of the Mideast,Africa and South America.

Any bets that the power is never cut off when the ruling class lives. If this keeps up I won’t be surprise when people start sabotaging the grid that feeds the areas like Menlo Park, Bel Air, and Malibu.

"I have heard some California jokes, about how California is home to high tech in the Silicon Valley, but can’t figure out how to keep the lights on."

Over rated. The intergrated circuit (chip) was invented by Jack Kilby in 1958 while working for Texas instruments on Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas.

Intel would like for you to believe they invented it.

California has the power plants they just won’t permit them to be operated because of their mandate from the legislature signed by the governor to do away with fossil fuels for energy we’re supposed to be 60% now I don’t know what year it is supposed to be 100% from wind and solar I charge those Tesla’s you know

Luckily no wind. Otherwise there would be much bigger wildfire problem.

The state shut down all the power plants or a lot of them there’s not enough power anymore

Bell Labs made the first transistor.
Texas Instruments made the first integrated circuit.
Intel made the first microprocessor.
Xerox made the first microprocessor with on chip ROM and RAM.

Exactly. In mid-August the emperor, sorry governor, signed a proclamation, sorry, executive order, allowing the power companies to turn on their plants and deliver power.

That will be coming to the rest of us with Biden-Harris.

If we could harness the power of BS from the liberal left there would be unlimited resources.

But...wind power.

Plenty of that from the Democrat Party. And from both ends.

“A lot of good those windmills and solar panels are doing, eh, Kev?”

I read it too fast. I thought you wrote treadmills. Actually, I didn’t question myself quickly enough. Running Califormia energy with citizen treadmills seems like something that could happen in the future.

A crazy idea that’s not that crazy. We are already forced to recycle. Why not force us to produce our own energy? We are already running on treadmills and riding fake bicycles in the gym. That effort could and should be turned into producing electricity.
