Hey, it’s a start. But you know as well as I do there will be plenty of betters at the sports books in the local casinos for every game.

People just don’t understand how bad this is for the NFL.

With few to any fans in the stadiums or allowed in the stadiums, the league was pinning its hopes on huge viewership numbers. Those increased numbers would’ve catapulted them when their next round of negotiations is due with the networks- which i believe is next year.

The numbers they were expecting, and the future revenue from the networks, was expected to move the salary cap to around $250 million per team- presently its right around $200 million.

This is the worst possible scenario for the league if it continues.

Advertisers should immediately ask for 30% refund.

Networks should reduce payments to NFL 30%.

Players should have to forfeit 30% of pay.

THEY ALL would get UN-Woke in a day.

I realize that my post may be off topic but I figured that a few sports fans will read this thread and appreciate the NBA playoff game last night as the big mouthed coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, Doc Rivers, got the ultimate Trump karma lesson as his Clippers were eliminated from the playoffs last night by the Denver Nuggets. Los Angeles was the heavy favorite until Coach Rivers blasted Trump and called him a racist. Rivers should work on improving his coaching and leadership skills if he wants to be a champion. His comments on social justice should be kept to himself. As of now, he’s just a pathetic choker! lol

Bread and Circus kept the plebs of Rome pacified for centuries. But not even the Roman leadership could have imagined that they could disrespect a huge portion of their citizens and still have them obediently show up to games. You don’t need to study nazis and communists to get insight into effective propaganda. Modern capitalism has plenty of great examples on how to manipulate minds.

So the individual advertisers have to hit the networks. Hard.

So we have to target and push specific advertisers.

When you consider that there are no or very few fans at games that should be watching their own TV’s, very few bars with Sunday Ticket showing to eyeballs that are now at home not watching their TV’s, the numbers suck even more.

Nah. Someone’s paying them. 50 million is nothing to multi billionaires

These guys are useful idiots acting as traitors for money.

They’re like the New York Times. No one knows how they stay in business. But they do.

Watched Broncos/Titans game. I've been a Broncos season ticket holder for over 40 years. Of my four tickets I gave two back to the Broncos this season … if selected I plan to attend the Broncos/Bucs game in Denver on 9/27. I'll follow the Broncos as a long time committed fan … other teams, not much interest.

Its hard to give up anything that you grew up with. I admit I looked at highlights this past weekend for my team but I did not turn on the TV at all and watch. It’s a start to break the addiction. What also helps is that if you sneak a peak you see something that makes you ill.

Not only did I forget that there were two games on Monday Night, I forgot Football was on Monday night.

Does my “boycott” vote count if I didn’t watch it “by default?”
