(NO search results of this aspect.) If the affiliate station is responsible for securing persons to act as security, then they bear responsibility for the actions as well.

Worse yet, the newscaster and his guard/accomplices appear to have been intentionally provoking fights due to bias/profit/fake news

The family will sue the bejeezus out of NBC. They will win. It will cost NBC millions - maybe tens of millions.

Criminal negligence on the part of whatever security company for sure.
The civil side is going to be a blood bath for sure.

“But the shooting of Keltner may have a longer reach than others since he had been hired by a Denver television station, KUSA-TV, to act as a security guard for reporters at the events.”
Huh?

Waiting to see if any connections arise between this and the forthcoming Project Veritas video.
The PV tease makes this association seem possible.

I suppose the laws in Minnesota are different but was George Floyd licensed when he worked as a security guard?

Couldn't happen to a more deserving station. KUSA has been a far-Left, Antifa-supporting "news" outlet for a long time. I've heard rumors that the shooter was hired to provoke confrontation, which the station could then film and show on their "news." I hope we discover if that's true.

The news media hires antifa thugs to perform security. This reminds me of the Rolling Stones hired the Hells Angels to provide security at their concert at Altamont CA back about 1973. What could go wrong? Yep, the “security guards” stabbed to death some guy who they said got too close to the stage. It was on film.

Now media, don’t try to incite a confrontation with Trump supporters using hired antifa just to try to make Trump look bad.
It may go spectacularly wrong.
NBC is Comcast
Comcast has been giving Trump a hard time.
Everyone should be demanding the separation of telecom and news.

Seems like Pinkerton would be the one facing criminal charges while the TV station would face monetary liability.

Also, a radio report today stated that 9news had hired off duty police to protect their building.

There is that pesky word “could”.
Have not seen anything yet that the shooter has been charged with any crime.

A TV station hiring a gun-carrying BLM/Antifa supporting radical as “security” makes as much sense as the Rolling Stones hiring Hells Angles to provide security. What could go wrong?

Seems to me there were 3 people involved in this conspiracy to incite violence, which cost an innocent man his life. ALL 3 SHOULD BE CHARGED!!!

Has KUSA 9 News anchor Kyle Clark been terminated yet?
From what I've been reading he and his news producer were attempting incite something in order to have something to report on a slow news day. Apparently the demonstrators were wrapping it up and leaving the Civic Center area when the incident occurred.
