The New York Times has continued its reporting blackout on ties between Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and suspected Chinese Communist regime spy Christine Fang — not reporting on those ties for more than two weeks after they came to light.
Swalwell had been one of several American politicians that Fang had developed extensive ties to, as part of a multi-year spying operation in the United States between 2011 and 2015. Fang was even a campaign bundler for Swalwell and placed at least one intern in his congressional offices, according to the report. The FBI was reportedly so concerned about Fang — who had engaged in romantic relationships with at least two midwestern mayors — that they briefed Swalwell about her in 2015, when she suddenly returned to China.
Swalwell’s office even confirmed that Swalwell knew Fang and that he had spoken to the FBI about her.
“Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person — whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasn’t seen in nearly six years — to the FBI. To protect information that might be classified, he will not participate in your story,” a statement from his office to Axios said.
Swalwell has refused to answer questions about their relationship, and whether it was romantic. He has suggested the revelation was retaliation for criticizing the Trump administration, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has said she has no concerns about Swalwell.
Despite this, the New York Times has not yet once reported on the issue. The Washington Post has done at least one story on it, and has mentioned it several times in newsletters.

They didn’t cover up the story about the Navy seaman that took one photo of his bed on a submarine. There must be a double standard . . .
They cover-up any bad things the liberals do. That is why they are fake news.
Everything not fit to print, that is the Times.
The only thing the NY Slimes is good for is bird cage lining.
So what? Why isn’t the The Blaze, OAN, Newsmax, and the other “conservative” news outlets reporting on this day by day?
Takes guys to print the truth....and they don’t have ANY.
Exactly. NY Times is what it is, don’t care.
Many years ago, like 30 years ago. I learned that at least 75% of what showed up in the “Newspapers” was actually “Put There” by PR firms. PR firms that paid the newspapers to place “Stories” or “Articles” that looked like news but where designed to either sell a product, idea or a concept.
I suspect that most of our major news organizations make the majority of their money from these PR Firms and many of them are influenced by and are paid by foreign Governments.
Stall for time to run out the clock.
So what? Why isn’t the The Blaze, OAN, Newsmax, and the other “conservative” news outlets reporting on this day by day? They have bigger peeking ducks got fry.
The News Organizations hire consultants who help tailor the news to target the viewer and their buying habits. The news programming is on a 6th grade level and the advertisements are on a tenth grade level. The news keeps people weak level, so they are more likely to buy things they do not need, from sophisticated advertising methods.

At the end of the day it’s all about Sales.
Selling a product or selling an idea, it’s all the same thing.
There’s money and power with its success. It works. The Left has mastered this.
This just in: Swallowell was spying on Chinese spy (had his own stinger going), and got her deported. /sarc
He thinks his s*** doesn’t stink. What a turd.
Do you really expect the New York Slimes to ever print anything that might disrespect their Democrat guardian angels?
“If it weren’t for double standards, leftists and liberals would have no standards at all.” — Chris Plante, WMAL-FM/ DC.
Swawell is guilty as hell and should be brought up on charges.
IMHO, the NYT is guilty of news suppression.
