Canada Will Reopen Borders to Fully Vaccinated Americans Starting Next Month

Canada will allow Americans who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the country next month, officials said on July 19.

The Public Health Agency of Canada said that U.S. citizens and permanent residents living in the United States who have received the vaccine at least 14 days before trying to cross the border can enter on Aug. 9, according to a statement from the government of Canada.

They will have to have a full set of shots accepted by the Canadian government. That includes vaccines made by Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson.

“Entry to Canada will continue to be prohibited for U.S. travelers who are not fully vaccinated and for all other foreign nationals, unless they already meet an exemption set out in the Orders made under the Quarantine Act,” the Canadian government’s news release said.

Those who try to cross the border have to “provide evidence supporting their vaccination” in English or French, or with a certified translation of their vaccine.

The government said they’ll also have to “provide COVID-19-related information electronically through ArriveCAN (app or web portal) including proof of vaccination prior to departing for Canada,” meet testing requirements before entering, be COVID-19 asymptomatic, and have a digital or paper copy of their vaccination documentation.

Travelers, according to the health agency, will also need to provide Canadian authorities with “a suitable quarantine plan” and will have to “be prepared to quarantine.”

“They will also be required to follow public health measures in place, such as monitoring for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, wearing a mask when in public, and keeping a copy of their vaccination documentation and test results—as well as a list of close contacts and locations visited—for 14 days after entry to Canada,” the release stated.

Ground travel between Alaska and Canada is technically allowed for essential travel, but in practice is fraught with peril (i.e., a Canadian border guard has discretion on whether or not your travel is essential, you might get stuck in Canada for 14 days if the swab they give you at the border comes back positive, etc).

Just plan on flying (until domestic carriers start requiring vaccine passports, that is).

The Canadians, with their socialized health care, can pay for the health complications that arise from adverse reactions to the experimental treatment.

There has been a sea change on US policy.

A month ago Biden called Trudeau by telephone asking that Canada open its borders and the USA would do the same reciprocally.

Now the US position has changed, from the thread article:

“It isn’t clear when the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will allow Canadian travelers to cross into the United States. DHS officials didn’t immediately respond to a request by The Epoch Times for comment.”

Joe has gone from allowing Canadians in to not allowing them in as Canada has opened to US vaccinated travellers at airports and border crossings.This is a BIG CHANGE.

Why the change in Biden?

The Covid palns have changed simply because the Biden leftists have changed to an Alinsky strategy to prolong the pandemic using variants, Covid 19 spread caused by over a million untested immigrants from the Southern Border, and convincing Democrat Governors to re impose mask and lock down requirements, and castigate the “unvaccinated,” who are used now by Biden as an excuse for continuing the re-lock down strategy state by state.

Why? So as to extend the pandemic emergency rule into the 2022 mid term elections , so the Dems can pull off another cheat under Covid election rules, absentee ballots, unsolicited mailed ballots etc.Biden and his lefty colleagues are scared to death of Donald Trump and they conclude that the Dems cannot win either in 2022 or 2024 against the Trump Machine.

Trudeau’s strategy is to open Canada up and then call an election so he can achieve a parliamentary majority government, he currently has a minority government, outvoted in Parliament by 2 other parties, the Conservatives and the NDP combined.
