WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell implored unvaccinated Americans Tuesday to take the COVID-19 shot, issuing a stark and grave warning of a repeat of last year’s shutdowns if people refuse to protect themselves from the coronavirus.
McConnell urged Americans to ignore the “demonstrably bad advice” coming from pundits and others against the vaccines. As caseloads skyrocket, he noted that nearly all the new virus hospitalizations in the U.S. are among people who have not been vaccinated.
“If there is anybody out there willing to listen: Get vaccinated,” McConnell, R-Ky., said at his weekly press conference at the Capitol.
“These shots need to get in everybody’s arms as rapidly as possible or we’re going to be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for — that we went through last year,” he said. “This is not complicated.”
McConnell has been one of the most outspoken members of his party in urging vaccinations to stop the virus spread, speaking often in his home state of Kentucky of the need for people to get the shot.

There are many of us who have had the Wuhan virus already-we have natural immunity-the best kind-there are also many people who have extreme reactions to vaccines-even a flu shot-like anaphylactic shock or worse-I’m one-I know quite a few people who have had the Wuhan-myself included-I don’t know anyone who ended up in hospital-or dead-I know only two people who had it have gotten vaccinated-because they travel all week for their jobs and their boss insisted-both were out sick-worse than the Wuhan- for nearly a week after the vax-but this is a rural area, sparsely populated and as such not like an average town or city. I wear a mask if my customer wants-but hardly any of them ask now.

Its my medical decision. Shove anyone elses’ demands I do something I do not want to do that is irreversible and holds no one accountable if I am injured or dead.

If these thug people really cared about people making up their own minds they’d leave the ones who decided “no thanks”, alone.

VAERS is a CDC database. The CDC hasn't attributed a single one of the deaths reported to VAERS to the vaccine.
When he calls them Covid vaccine deaths he's lying.
Be careful who you get your information from.
Maybe he thinks this isn’t a battle he wants to waste the time and political capital fighting. There’s a lot not to like about Mitch, but in this case he may be right. If you really don’t want to be vaccinated, it’s your choice. Do you really need Mitch to get involved?
