Senior State Department officials on Monday announced that the "U.S. has facilitated the safe departure of four US citizens by overland route from Afghanistan. Embassy staff was present upon their arrival."
But those actually involved in the dangerous rescue operation say the State Department deserves little to no credit for Mariam's escape from Afghanistan.
Cory Mills and a private team of military veterans, drawing on funding by private donors including the Sentinel Foundation, led the effort to rescue Mariam and her three children from Afghanistan, where they had been left behind by the Biden administration, multiple sources with knowledge of Mariam's evacuation confirmed to Fox News.
Mills and his team worked for weeks to get Mariam's family out of Afghanistan after Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson alerted him to the family's plight.
Mills' team first sought to get the family aboard one of the last government flights out of Kabul, but she was unable to gain admission into the airport
Plan B was to get Miriam and her family aboard a private charter flight from Mazar-i-Sharif airport, but the planes were never cleared to take off
Mills' final card to play was to travel overland to a neighboring country – the exact country is being withheld to avoid jeopardizing future rescue missions – and attempt to get the family across the border.
The State Department's public posture about Mariam's rescue is "absolute nonsense," Mills told Fox News in an exclusive interview Monday. "The fact that they're spinning this, trying to take 100% credit when they didn't track this family, when they placated this family, when the mother, who was under extreme stress and extreme pressure, reached out to the State Department multiple times and got no help."

The State Department is obstructing the rescue mission in Afghanistan because China wants maximum casualties.
I knew when I heard them taking credit for it they were lying.
They’re blocking every escape they can.
They weren’t able to block this one, so they take credit instead.
For heaven’s sake, the State Department is probably using any information they gained to jeopardize additional rescue efforts.
What those POS need to be doing is not making eye contact with anyone outside their herd of traitors. They need to be running scared, not standing proud. I pray to God that He will oversee justice meted for what they’ve done to our Country.

Now reports are coming in that a sizable chunk of the folks coming in, did absolutely nothing to assist the US. Some are complaining about their accommodations. And some are demanding family reunification.
Lindsey Graham was interviewed and said that the US military will be going back in there. Why? The Taliban is our friend, right? Oh wait, even with all the weapons they took from the ANA/ANP, all of which provided by the US taxpayer over the course of about 19 years, the Taliban can’t fight ISIS-K, all by itself.
All this talk about this group and that group of patriots rescuing....who the f*ck knows...they’re heroes...they’re this....out of curiosity, did anyone think to ask the American taxpayer if they want the financial burden of supporting folks that 99% support, sharia?
These people don’t know how old they are, they have no id, they have nothing. And we all get to pay for it. We all get to pay for all them popping out US citizens in the coming months.
I saw Blinken give a press conference the other day. Over 17,000 person backlog for these savages to be processed for SIV status. We’re taking in folks that have nothing. And we’re welcoming them in like they were the leader of some resistance group that helped us win a war. All they did was get paid by the US Taxpayer for doing not a whole lot, actually.
