"Six dems voted no so had all R's voted no the bill would have passed anyway since the Dems have 221 seats vs 213 for Rep with one seat vacant."

Check the math; If all the Republicans voted no, there would have failed with 226 No. Of course, the votes would have likely changed with that prospect.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. Democrats get shallacked four days ago, and then turn around and give us this in-your-face liberal spending bill, with the help of 11 Republicans!

The infrastructure bill was always expected to pass. It's the multi-trillion dollar (and growing) Build Back Better bill, full of all kinds of climate crap and social justice spending, that's in trouble.

Actually closer to $4T, it’s a massive hold-up of the middle class American Public. And the worst is yet to come, in 1-2 weeks, with the so-called $3.5T “social spending” bill, which will be closer to $6T. We are doomed.

Far better evicting them while they are away from DC. Pest control method if needed. Because the monuments and buildings in DC are testimony to truly GREAT former leaders who created this country. And some— not so great, destructive ones who need to be remembered for a “negative barometer” gauge of the “new” frauds that have been installed.

I’ve never been on FarceButt, and am blocked from it until I sign-up, which I won’t do. Same for Tweeter, LinkedIn etc etc etc. Other than a few firearm websites and FR, I stay away from that leftist social crap.

“ “Tonight, we took a monumental step forward as a nation,” Biden said in a statement issued by the White House”

Sounds suspiciously like Biden didn’t say. Actual audio recording? or text of debatable origin?

The place to stop this bill was in the Senate but sadly China Mitch and the Chamber of Commerce owned GOP greased its passage instead.

The demonKKKrats’ agenda doesn’t include student aid; they just want criminal illegal alien invaders to benefit, at our expense. They’re the new dem voters base.

The point is that the Dems don't actually serve their "base", (and Republicans frequently don't either...) They just stir up social chaos to rule by divide and conquer, and to push the elitist globalist agenda. They pay off the urban minority elites to stuff the ballot box for them. It's all fake, and the point is to make the Dem base understand it. There is nothing in this for ordinary people, and it should convince enough people who didn't vote for Trump that the election was rigged to promote a very unpopular agenda. To hit critical mass, we need these people onboard. Then, many things become possible in terms of voiding the fraudulent election and enacting some real reforms.

Assistant Democrats will keep assisting the Democrats as long as we keep re-electing them.

This bill was going to pass no matter what Republicans did but if Republicans had stuck together, it would’ve force at least a couple of the “squad“ to vote for it thus breaking up their solidarity. We give cover to them. McCarthy is worthless.

Don't know how true these facts might be, but read the following in an article last night. If this is true, we are going to have a fight on our hands. They will probably threaten to take away our VA benefits/disability pay, retired Army pay, social security, etc., until we give them up. If true, this is a massive crap bill. :

You might also be interested to know that on September 25, the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act was passed by the House of Representatives in a 316-113 vote. One provision in this bill allows for military courts to confiscate guns from former members of the military. The military court would be able to issue a “protective order,” which would make the owning of a firearm by a former military member illegal. 135 Republicans in the House voted in favor of this bill as well, which is now in the Senate. Gun Owners of America issued a statement saying, “If Nancy Pelosi gets this into the military code, then it becomes the precedent for enforcing gun confiscation against the rest of the population.”

This may seem outrageous and impossible — to forbid our former military members to own firearms. Our veterans, who are perhaps the most highly trained of all of us, and who have served their country, forbidden from owning guns? But you see, it’s our veterans who are some of the most patriotic among us all — and to the New World Order Globalists, “patriots,” conservatives, and Christians are the most dangerous threat to the country now — “domestic terrorists,” in fact. By the way, you’re ALSO a terrorist now if you show up at a school board meeting to voice your opinion.

It’s business as usual. Nothing has changed.

No, because of the election results, Democrats decided to decouple the somewhat bipartisan infrastructure bill from the Democrat progressives' bill. The Democrat progressive wing had held up the first bill for weeks/months in a bid to force the second bill through. They folded after the loss and near loss in the Virginia and New Jersey elections because Democrats are worried about losing 51 seats in next year's midterms and losing the presidential race in 2024.

Each house district differs by the composition of its voters, so each representative has to take that into consideration. I do not the details of the 11 Republicans' districts. I doubt there will be a single Republican vote for the second progressive bill, but perhaps one already not returning (Kinzinger) may do so out of pique or for reward from the Democrats.
