Exactly. I can’t speak for every area but even in leftist Massachusetts, at least the more western part of the state, Very few people actually care anymore and are pretty much living normal lives. I would say maybe only 5% of people in the stores wear masks. Events are happening as normal, Restaurants are crowded, etc.
There is still a small, but I guess vocal, chunk of people who are fully vaccinated who watch seen it all day and are terrified of Covid and going out to a restaurant, etc. But for the other 99% or more of the population they have moved on with their lives and just want to go back to normal and I pretty much accepted Covid will still be around no matter what we do to some extent.
I actually agree with you. I would love to see him announce lockdowns and business closures. I think they are dumb enough to try that and it will push plenty of people over the edge of where this absurdity has taken us
It’s practically the same wine he’s used with every variant or surge that has come out during his “plan to stop the virus debt in its tracks“ or whatever he called it during the campaign. He is too far gone mentally to comprehend it, but he has just enough mental capacity to remember that he campaigned on stopping a virus, And will just read the script they gave him.
I don’t care enough to walk up the exact number, but he’s pretty much given these types of speeches with his “stark warnings,”, “long dark winter”, etc. Multiple times.
Not much really changes each time except the name of the scary variant or the number of “cases” that he is reading of the Teleprompter and pretty much repeating the same actions that didn’t work the first, second, etc. time such as getting vaccinated, social distancing, mask wearing, etc.
As we now see, the Oma Cron variant, is mostly in vaccinated people so far, and even then has extremely mild symptoms like the common cold, but that won’t stop him from saying everyone needs to get a Booster or to to stop the sniffles from spreading, despite the fact that it’s the same vaccine as the original Covid and we are now likely hundreds of mutations away from it.
Why haven’t the Republicans started the drumbeat of impeachment talk yet? The leftists talked impeachment of Trump before and after he left office and did it twice. This guy is destroying the country in less than a year and the Republicans mostly say nothing.
