Yet...I counted THREE Mormons over those years who emerged from their legalistic sects who credited divine truth as it was espoused daily by the Flying Inman and their cohorts! And each of the male trio not only pointed to a Mormon exodus; but had connected with an ensuing Christian church! Praise our Lord for His workings of His graciousness here!
We will not know this side of heaven the Inman impact the Holy Spirit conducted via the weaknesses of vessels like us. Lurkers lurked. Posters opposing the true Gospel of Christ were ensured they had to play "defense" and not just peddle their wares to the unwary. And how many frustrated veteran Mormons either got booted for their unseemly manners? (Or just couldn't withstand the daily resilience of those Flying Inmans; and, therefore, abandoned their informal mission field here?)
And myself? Wow! What a learning curve I underwent via that challenge! To authoritatively discover what our mission field REALLY taught in the past; believed in the present; and falsely trusted for in the future! God worked among us in bonding us -- e'en tho we were complete strangers. We had each other's back -- even though what an informal random "ratpack" of rousing reprovers we were!
And do not underestimate the shelf life of our posts. Most have remained searchable for all of these years. I've found topics that only WE covered in solid investigatory ways. We posted countless articles which no longer exist in ANY form minus what we posted; thereby preserving (for up until now at least) their historicity as others stumble upon their existence.
And, boy what classic catty communiques--collectively--were wittily catechized with typical Flying Inman-branded deep-vein in-house humor! (Somebody ought to go back and sift through "The Best of the Flying Inmans" for a potential classic best-seller on how to foster insight & intrigue while engaging and encountering legalistic sectarianism!)
So...whoever gets to heaven first among us -- please lobby our Lord that we'd like to have our own reunion group (tentatively acronymed F.I.C.K.L.E. -- Flying Inmans Caucus of Keyboard Legends of Evangelism). We'd like to be greeters to the ex-Mormons whom the Lord graced to be part of this growing Re-Exodus!

On the one hand, we were all digital phantoms to each other; but on the other hand much more than that: We were embodied believers in the global Body of Christ who embraced a common cause of Gospel-truth dissemination...at a time I increasingly realized that none of us are REALLY solo silos! We all are interwoven and inter-connected with others more than we've ever realized!
