Illinois State Police threaten legal consequences for convoy participants
"Those who choose to participate in events that intentionally endanger the public and violate Illinois law will be subject" to legal action, officials say.

The Saturday afternoon announcement from ISP said "officials have become aware of a planned event along several interstate corridors scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2022 – Saturday, March 5, 2022, where truck drivers plan to conduct a 'convoy' causing traffic delays and potentially crashes."
Illinois sounds like it might be a commie blue state . . . (yea, they are - I live here).
Except in Chicago where its the wild West every day.
All the more reason to put the hammer down.
The endangerment of the public and violations of Illinois laws that occur in Chicago every day don’t appear to be viewed as problematic or dangerous by the authorities.
Yet a convoy of trucks promoting freedom is. The hypocrisy runs large in this country.

Blocking a Federal or State highway did not seem to be illegal last year when ANTIFA and BLM was blocking those roads.
Once again, the cops are the enemy of freedom.

Convoy is another name for tens of thousands of rolling tourists passing through your state. No law against driving through ANY state for ANY reason.

It took them from January 2020 until July 2021 for them to process my renewal. Unbelievable.
