George Conway: Durham Probe Should Be Thrown into the ‘Trash Can’ — ‘This Case Was a Joke

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” The Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway reacted to former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann being acquitted of lying to the FBI about supposed “collusion” between then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia during the 2016 campaign.

Conway said that special counsel John Durham’s probe into the “Russian collusion” hoax should be “headed into the trash can.” He described both the case and investigation as jokes.

Well, I think the only way to get a change of venue from Washington DC for a case where the federal court in DC has original jurisdiction is if all parties in the case agree to it, and why would any defendant agree to that if they are almost guaranteed an acquittal in DC court?

For once I agree with this fugly moron, the case was a POS. The real crimes of sedition and subversion against he government should be what was tried. Half those clowns should be rotting in jail ‘awaiting trial’ instead of roaming free enjoying the fruits of their traitorous actions.

It shouldn’t take 37 posts to finally get to a simple but spot on 3 sentence explanation of this case. The jury, even if you ignore the likely bias, saw this as a trial on a misdemeanor charge at best. I happen to agree with that.

If you accept that Sussman did not lie, then it is the testimony of the FBI that becomes the lie - Sussman DID, contrary to the FBI, admit he was representing Clinton when he met with the FBI.
