Walker has made his criticism of absentee Black fathers a part of his campaign. Having one child is one thing. It’s a learning experience that he can point to as triggering his position. But three? He just becomes what he is criticizing, and comes off as hypocritical.
He had already disclosed his children when he was part of the President’s council on fitness. He supported his kids and he loved them. He had kept no secrets...the press was just amping up the story again. Walker’s criticism of absentee black fathers “who don’t” support their kids is a valid one and he can make that charge because he does support his kids. Now should he have ever been a father to out of wedlock kids? No and he will have to live that one down but has he done right by them?...yes he has.
What he can do though is to turn this around and say...”Warnoc and the rest of Stacey Abrams Democrats would have had my black babies aborted... and I will support efforts to reduce the levels of black babies being aborted which is decimating the black population in this nation!” Guaranteed Mic drop!
