Exclusive: An Informer Told the FBI What Docs Trump Was Hiding, and Where
Newsweak ^

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek.

(snip)

The senior Justice Department source says that Garland was regularly briefed on the Records Act investigation, and that he knew about the grand jury and what material federal prosecutors were seeking. He insists, though, that Garland had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the specific raid, nor was he asked to approve it. "I know it's hard for people to believe," says the official, "but this was a matter for the U.S. Attorney and the FBI."

FBI director Christopher Wray ultimately gave his go-ahead to conduct the raid, the senior Justice official says. "It really is a case of the Bureau misreading the impact."

Trump allowed them into the place several times. He took them to a storage area in the basement where the documents were. This was part of the ongoing discussions about what belong to archives and white would go to the presidential library. One of the three investigators saw documents stamped classified. No doubt he ran right to the court and swore that he saw boxes containing classified documents. This of course ignores the fact that Trump had classified documents at some point, ruled them to be declassified, but that does not magically lift the ink stamp off the paper. This entire raid was another FBI lie. They must be disbanded

There’s some tin foil hat stuff out there that Trump has Epstein’s underage sex client list and is about to reveal it, therefore the warrant signed off by judge who represented Epstein’s employees.

Raid was a warning to Trump not to reveal , a shot across the bow.

Wray cut short his testimony and didn’t answer a number of questions directed at him by Congress, claiming he had to catch a plane (even though he has his own plane assigned to him that won’t go without him.)

Due to his experience now, Trump has probably been getting a lot of good counter-intel advice.

For example, seeding rumors to flush out possible moles and traitors.

Like for example, “I just had this great new safe installed at MAL to hold all my top secret stuff.”

You tell various suspected moles different versions, and when the FBI is bird-dogged to that false trail, you know who is the informant.

Three investigators visited Mar-a-Lago in June. Trumps staff took them everywhere the records were stored. Trump stopped in and greeted them and spoke to them a few minutes. They could see that some of the documents were mark classified. This of course ignores that when a document is declassified it does not magically remove the classified stamp. Guaranteed FBI agent ran straight to a court and said he saw classified documents. Effing liars.

Notice the lies...”hiding”.

If they were “hidden” how would they know?

Lies

What if... Bare with me, what if Trump ginned this whole thing up? Had an employee leak something to someone and then let the cards fall where they may? Or, had a suspicion that he had a rat in the mix and leaked info to only that person to see what would happen?

Basic question: How did an FBI agent get into Trump’s home prior to their invasion?

That’s obvious. The FIBs undoubtedly had some “informants” embedded from the very beginning.

Hopefully the Trump org had them identified and was feeding them bad information.

Supposedly the “Informant” told them there was stuff in the safe which was totally EMPTY..so if that was the case, sounds like someone made the feds look like total fools

It would be fabulous if Trump set them up.

Exactly. Everybody pretends like the FBI is independent. It is 100% a subordinate bureau of the department of justice. The FBI Director is completely subordinate to the AG. The AG is completely subordinate to the president. There’s not a shred of legality into this supposed independence.

The FBI is begging for a massive pimp slap.

The Raid is not about documents. It is an open notorious mafiosi-style assassination threat to Trump, and planning of same by the Anti-American criminal Marxist thieves running the Brandon Junta. He should never return to Mar-a-lago. Not safe.

Observers say they entered with backpacks. I wonder how many listening bugs and hidden cameras were left behind.

If we’re going Third World, the informer should be investigated for spying, and then shot.

The reality of the matter is. No one responsible will ever do a minute of jail/prison time. Or be held accountable. Foe an example. Look back no further than Ashley Babbitt. Like them or not. Those are the facts of life.
