Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Monday on CNN’s “Situation Room” that if Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) loses her primary on Tuesday, the Republican Party was in a “bad place,” given she “is standing up against evil.”
Cheney is the vice chair of the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol and voted to impeach former President Donald Trump, who endorsed her challenger, attorney Harriet Hageman.

She has a hard on for Trump - so, think about the 1/6 committee during the remainder of this Congress. That is all she is going to do.
When the House flips, the first thing they have to do is appoint a 1/6 Committee for the new Congress, with all the same powers of the previous Congress and access to all the files, records, hard drives, devices of the current 1/6 committee. One half of the new Committee mandate is to properly examine 1/6. The other half is to microscopically analyze and investigate the current 1/6 committee and its investigation. Liz Cheney will no longer be in Congress, so she will be in the same boat as Steve Bannon with respect to contempt of Congress leverage. I want all of her text messages from all of her phones from 1/20/2017 to date. All of it. And should all of it leak onto the internet, that would be too bad. And should the most embarrassing exchanges be displayed during prime-time committee hearings on the big screen, that would be too bad as well. Scorched earth, 24x7, for 2 years.
If they feel so strongly about it, they should write their Congressman!
