President Biden on Thursday said the federal government is “laser-focused” on the situation in Puerto Rico, where residents are dealing with the fallout of Hurricane Fiona, a major storm that slammed the island almost five years to the day after Hurricane Maria wreaked havoc on its infrastructure.
Biden attended a briefing with the governor of Puerto Rico, New York officials and the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) while in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly.
Biden earlier Wednesday signed an expedited major disaster declaration, which will authorize federal funding to cover 100 percent of costs on the island for debris removal, search and rescue, power and water restoration and shelter and food for the month of September.

In other words, will ‘circle back’ to Puerto Rico when can...
Attacking them with a death ray so they’ll shaddup while Hunter pilfers the FEMA funds?
They may be laser focused but you can be sure they’re pointing the laser into their own eyes.
Brandon should appoint AOC as Czar to oversee restoration efforts. Maybe this time AOC’s granny won’t get left out. Spread the $$$$$$

Be sure to check on AOC’s Abuela.
Now would be a good time to give them independence....................
Will the media trash Biden over his response to the disaster or praise him as a great leader during disaster? /s
(after damage from Fiona)
Fiona Apple 🍎?
Screw the American! Right Jo Jo!
Their big chance to “build back better” a renewable energy system. Watch them try to put solar panels everywhere on the island.
So more billions to line their pockets and not actually do anything productive with the $$$$$.
Laser focused = shovel ready
Laser focused on pudding.
Oh thank goodness he’s focused. I was getting kind of concerned when he said he was thinking about destroying the Black Sea Fleet.
A powerful enough laser will destroy
The man of the weakened neurons could totally ignore Puerto Rico and let it slide into the sea, and the media and the democrats would praise him for his rapid response and for caring so much, etc, etc.
There is no Republican to blame, so the devastation is ignored.
“100 percent of costs on the island for debris removal, search and rescue, power and water restoration and shelter and food for the month of September.”
The corrupt will take all the billions we give them and more.
