The expected indictment of Donald Trump is looming over the midterm elections as both parties are preparing for a major battle after Election Day if Attorney General Merrick Garland moves forward with an unprecedented prosecution of a former president.
Republican lawmakers in both the Senate and the House are warning they will put up a staunch defense of Trump if the Department of Justice announces an indictment, which some GOP aides and strategists expect to come in the first 60 to 90 days after Election Day.

My question is this:
If he is indicted, will US Marshalls/FBI raid him and put him in handcuffs and take him to jail?
Or would he be notified and told to appear later?
Trump supports are like nails, the harder you hit them, the deeper it goes.

Ok, if Trump’s indicted before election, trial likely will last well into his presidency.
Can’t he pardon himself then?

I will be that just like in 2020 during impeachment, McConnell will promise him that if Trump does what the deep state Republicans ask, they will have his back.
In 2020 it was about not pardoning Assange or Snowden and not releasing JFK files. This time it will be not running in 2024.

It’s now 7+ years, and they haven’t laid a finger on him.
If they had allowed him to just be president without all this, he wouldn’t
be near the folk hero they turned him into.
They do, and I am coming to believe that could unleash something they can’t handle or predict.
