U.S. creates process for exploited migrant workers to obtain protection from deportation

Washington — The Biden administration on Friday announced an expedited immigration process that will allow immigrants exploited in the workplace, or involved in labor investigations, to apply for protections from deportation and for work permits.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) unveiled a streamlined process for immigrants without legal status who are victims of, or witnesses to, labor exploitation, to apply for deferred action, a form of immigration relief that allows federal officials to shield certain individuals from deportation.

DHS officials said the policy will encourage exploited workers to denounce labor violations and participate in workplace investigations in ways they would otherwise be fearful of engaging in due to their lack of legal immigration status, and the threat of deportation.

NO WORK PERMITS!!! Undermines the spirit and laws to give any illegal alien a work permit for any reason. They can be interviewed in their home country. DEPORT THEM.

Gees, how wrong can you be? According to the latest poll I’ve seen, 87% of Americans want the border closed and illegal aliens deported. But not this twit.

It is things like this that make me understand fully that we no longer live in a Constitutional Republic.

The Administration breaking the laws in the Federal Register passed by legal Constitutional processes.

In normal times, this would be grounds for impeachment, not of just the Office of The Presidency, but for a multitude of others, such as the head of the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, just to name two.

How about American citizens “exploited” in the workplace, whatever that means?

The Constitutional Republic ship sailed long. If we were a Constitutional Republic we would never had things like Bill Clinton, Joe Biden and obama it the White House. Donald Trump would be President. Citizens would be intelligent and have a working knowledge Government[s] operated. Educational Institutions would educate as they once did. Judges would decide cases according to written laws instead of what made them feel good. Boys would at least know how to air up vehicle tires and change them instead of how to apply makeup and walk in high heel shoes.

Won’t this encourage illegals to accept exploitation?

You can’t be exploited if you’re not an illegal alien, so GTFO.

I know. These observations, everything you said, is demoralizing and disconcerting to me.

And spot on.

It is as if those who govern us realize nobody is going to force them to follow the guidelines of The Constitution.

They now feel free to ignore it in practice, and not even feel obligated to explain to the electorate (or just outright lie and never look back when they do) why they deviate from Constitutional guidelines.

I find it all pretty depressing.

According to form I-9, NONE of these invaders are eligible to work on a payroll in the USA.

There are a lot of states that do not recognize the right of the federal government to require I-9. IL and CA for example.

The rest don’t check, even the red states, unless they are pretty sure they are legal.

The interesting thing is the Real ID push, which will be declared racist, because that IS being enforced.
