Newly elected Sen. John Fetterman has described his severe hearing disability as causing him to hear the voice of the teacher from the "Peanuts" cartoon when listening to people speak, the New York Times reported.
Fetterman suffered a stroke in May 2022 while campaigning for Pennsylvania's open Senate seat, causing him to have cognitive issues, including a problem with auditory processing.
The senator, who is in the hospital after experiencing lightheadedness Wednesday, has also struggled to adjust to life in the Senate, given the challenges of recovering from his stroke and the need for technological tools to help him conduct conversations with staff and colleagues.

I give him a year, he will resign and I would expect that his wife will be appointed to take his place.
Fetterman doesn’t hear voices and he didn’t have stroke. Preesley doesn’t have alopecia. And Biden is not senile. They all play a role and soon every member of congress will be deformed, genderless, anti-human non-player characters and we will like it.

Fetterman ran for the Senate only for the benefits and a very fat retirement check after serving one term. He has nothing to offer. He lived off his parnets for 45 years and now the American taxpayer is going to take over and support a lavish life style. He is not alone, Kinzinger and Chuck Hagle come to mind.
He probably hears those voices even when no one is talking.

When I saw this headline I had dejavu.
I lost most of my hearing in my right ear in 2021.
When the hearing in my good left ear was blocked off, I remember telling several people that speech sounded like the adults in the Peanuts cartoons.
I have had many tests and the loss is age related (no stroke, no brain tumor).
Deemed by whom?
He is Senator until:
1. His term expires.
2. He resigns.
3. He dies.
4. He is expelled by the Senate.
Way to pick a real winner.
It's only your futures he's affecting, that's all.
Pennsylvania voters, as are all voters for a particular candidate, are mirror images of the person they elect in a fair and honest election. We all know that the elections in Penn. are not fair and honest. Until Philadelphia and Pittsburg get cleaned up, the elections in Penn. will never be fair and honest. The cleanup task is the responsibility of the good citizens of the state. It is unpleasant to think that the very city where our constitution was born is now one of the most corrupt cities in our nation. This is a blight on the people of Penn. They should be so ashamed to be seen in public that they are motivated to clean up their state.
That’s how the Democrats sound to me, too.
