Ohio House Bill 68, the proposed Save Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act, drew a crowd and debate Tuesday in its first hearing before the Public Health Policy House Committee.
The "SAFE Act" takes aim at gender-affirming care for minors and bears a strong resemblance to last year's House Bill 454, which bore the same name and made national headlines, but ultimately was not passed.
The 2023 bill prohibits gender reassignment surgery on minors, the prescription of puberty-blockers to minors for the purpose of assisting with gender transition, and mental health diagnoses or treatment for minors for gender-related conditions without parental consent and screening for "other comorbidities, abuse and traumas", like autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression and more

The Dems (specifically Obama/Hillary) shot themselves in the foot with their War on Coal. The southeastern part of the state was United Mine Workers Country, but not no more. We kicked a sleazoid union Democrat to the curb in my 6th Congressional District, and elected a solid ex-Air Force conservative. I think he's in his 5th term now. Many local offices remained Democrat, but even that's changing.
Sterilizing the insane and mentally incompetent used to be considered at the very least unethical, and at times "crimes against humanity". Now? Meh.
Anyone going along with the verbiage is on the other side. Quit calling it “GACare”. Call it what it is: child mutilation and life time drug programs”. Make it sound like what it is, to the ordinary person. Use truthful language, not the lies of the commie trash.
Going along with the language is how the Fl law on sex acts in school was mislabelled as “Dont say gay”. Quit letting the Aholes and Pedos frame the problem.
