This article is pure unadulterated Irish BS.

I think we’re down to only a handful of anti-trumpets left on this forum.

When things keep coming out on Desantis, e.g. the latest being his snub of Lee Elder, people will leave him in droves.

In the meantime, we have endure crap like this.

Trump was quick to go after him because he certainly sees him as an opponet even though he has not yet declared he’s running.

The corporate-contributed campaign war chest is a hint.

If Florida is such a horrible place under DeSantis, why does Trump continue to reside there?

Trump must be really stupid.

If PA no longer wants Trump or MAGA, why does Deep State need to continue to steal PA’s elections?

Maybe Ms. Zito could address that.>>> She doesn’t believe it was stolen and has said so. And she fails to even investigate obvious violations of election law in Delco described in subpoena in various lawsuits. And you have the actual numbers posted on the Delco website that do not add up. Violations of SURE system record keeping laws. and the failed Audit of the SURE system by the state auditor general. Sec of State Collusion to avoid the audit. The Failed analysis/audit of the fulton county election board. she has gone wacky. And it was not the machines. Any process that cannot be audited is on it’s face fradulent. Election processes cannot be audited.

I saw a “DeSantis For President” ad on TV, during History’s “Secret of SkinWalker Ranch”, last evening. He’s in.

To combat their condemnation he will suddenly swerve to the middle seeking some support. Donald Trump will never do so.

That's because Trump is already a liberal.

It's Trump they hate, not his policies.

They lose because they run folks who can’t win, because the GOPe of PA is feckless and cowards.

This is the math in PA:

46% D
39% R
15% I

To win PA statewide as a Republican, you need to get EVERY R vote there is to get, and then win independent voters by more than 2 to 1 and/or Peel away a significant number of moderate/conservative D voters.

Desantis won’t win the PA primary, and it won’t be close. Desantis isn’t even on track to win the FL primary at the moment.

Math just isn’t there for him, or ANYONE else, with Trump in the race... That’s the truth.

Barring some massive black swan event, Trump is the nominee, and it won’t even be close.

“No he’s not. You’re seeing things. Things that aren’t there. Simply figments of an overworked, feverish imagination.”

Sorry but, yes he is. He’s beholden to the establishment money men.. need to open your eyes. Look at his behavior just a few weeks ago... had the audacity to break with the establishment and claim Ukraine was a territorial dispute... didn’t take a day before the establishment bitch slapped him back into line and he walked it back.

Anyone thinking Desantis isn’t a wholly owned subsidiary of the establishment wing (Bush/Rove/Cheney/McCain) of the GOP is smoking some good stuff, or living in a world of self delusion. He needs their money, and is controlled by them, when it comes to you or them, he’s choosing them every single time.

PA Primary isn’t until April 23.

Everything will have been determined a month before.

Everyone I voted for here in PA lost in the 2022 election.

Even Lisa Scheller lost to Susan Wild (D) again in my Congressional race.

I just saw a picture of my smiling Congresswoman Susan Wild (D) having a fun time with smiling Mario Andretti at Lafayette College.

I go to every school board meeting and liberals have the votes.

They are pushing through a new $73 million dollar elementary school, after building another new $35 million elementary school 4 years ago.

I’ve witnessed parents reading porn from the school’s online library, which resulted in the Board screaming at her to stop.

I witnessed someone getting arrested at a school board meeting, and he was dragged out by the police. So far our Board has spent $30,000 in taxpayer money going after him.

Republicans, including Doug Mastriano (R) who ran for governor, voted for Act 77, which gave us massive MAIL IN VOTING.

Mastriano had no real chance to win, but he was our candidate for governor.

Dr. Oz had no real chance to win, but he was our candidate for the Senate.

If you watched the movie, Two Thousand Mules, there was massive fraud with the Mail in votes and drop boxes In Philadelphia.

We still have the problem of Mail in voting and drop boxes so fraud will happen again.

DeSantis’ biggest problem by far is that he has to beg and grovel for money like every other politician (except Trump) ...

Instead, if DeSantis would jump on the Trump Train wholeheartedly and either be VP or wait and learn until 2028, he could garner a full-bore endorsement from Trump, and the money he needs to run in 2028 would come flowing in effortlessly, as he could position himself as Trump’s third term ... DeSantis is young, so he could easily wait until then ...

But instead, with infinite and unwarranted hubris, DeSantis is insanely and pointlessly battling Trump, and like Icarus flying to close to the sun he will destroy himself and his future as a viable national politician ...

OTOH, i look at what trump said AND did for our country and for we regular folks as 45th President of the United States, and let me tell you, President Trump is the best President by far during my 71 years on this planet ... and no other one during that time is even close, not even Ronald Reagan ...

under Trump, we had peace, prosperity, respect/fear from our enemies and allies, energy independence, the greatest tax cut in U.S. history, transformation of the lower Federal Courts, transformation of the U.S. Supreme Court, tariffs to stop the flow of cheap foreign commodities bankrupting our industrial base, full employment, strong military, reduced flow of illegal aliens, reduced taxes, strong banks, strong and vibrant small businesses, negligible inflation, zero shortages, really the best times our country has seen in many decades ... there’s no other Republican that can Make America Great Again except for Donald Trump ... period ...

if trump can’t beat a weak old demented puppet like biden, then no one can, and that would be proof positive that our country has reached an inflection point in which it can never recover from the fascist feudal overlords that have been allowed to worm their way into, and destroy, every institution of our Republic ... trump is the only one who has any chance at all to prevent this inflection point from occurring in 2024 ... period ...

Kindly can the silly insults. When people are so inclined to see evil intent in someone's every action, they always will. Can't win with bigots.

Your negative impulses blind you to the fact that anti-Trumpers are only supporting DeSantis because they want to use him as a foil against Trump. DeSantis hasn't thanked any of them, whether or not he's actually gotten any monetary support from them is questionable, and judging from his deeds here in the Sunshine State, he sure isn't advancing the NeoCon agenada one iota.

So, the question to you regarding your disdain is: Why? What has DeSantis done to you? Anything? Or is he just in the way (real or perceived) of Donald Trump?

Have you ever even met the man? Do you even live in Florida?

“That’s because Trump is already a liberal.”

Let’s see..

Appointed supreme court justices and got Roe V Wade overturned... yep, screaming liberal there.

Nominated judges to the federal bench that completely changed the makeup of the Federal electorate (not just the supreme court).

Reduced Tax burdens and reduced regulation - Yep, raging liberal there.

Recognized Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel - Wow, what a raging liberal.

Record low unemployment - Wow what a leftist

Now, you want to talk fiscal conservatism, you can argue Trump didn’t fit the classical mold, but there hasn’t been a fiscal conservative policy, other than lip service, from EITHER party in nearly 4 decades.

Gawd, that's not even lame. You need to boost your rhetoric, good fellow!

I will ask you the same questions I asked another FReeper:

Why do you let your negative impulses blind you to the fact that anti-Trumpers are only supporting DeSantis because they want to use him as a foil against Trump?
