“”DJT...exempted because of a bone spur, I’ve had a bone spur (in my 40s) and they hurt like hell and *cannot* be faked (they show up clear as day on an xray).Marching...running,etc...no way!””
I got a bone spur in basic at Ft. Polk and Tigerland, it was painful but I survived.
True--before Obama drug the nation through the looking glass, the phrase wouldn't read as a double entendre.
Keep your eyes on this. The Del Mar enlisted club isn’t that far away and once word spreads, it will become a platoon-sized extracurricular activity to police this area.
Was it resolved?
I wish I could remember the details, I know it was tough going through basic after it started and doing everything in boots, especially since I was a top physical guy, but it evidently worked itself out at some point.
But,as I suggested...it's easy to see why the Army wouldn't have wanted him. I joined rather than wait to be drafted so I don't know if they could have said something like "OK,we'll draft you and fix the problem once you're in". I don't know if anything like that was ever done.
After losing the many years of deferments for school, it was fortunate that his personal doctor informed the draft board that he now had bone spurs.
The loss of course is that since no one in his family or family line has ever served America in uniform they don’t have any of that experience in their DNA
Biden played college football???
