Lukashenka agreed with Prigozhin to stop military convoys
According to the press service of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, having enlisted the support of Vladimir Putin, spent the whole day negotiating with the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.
As a result, the parties came to a mutually beneficial agreement, after which the movement of armed persons of the Wagner company on Russian territory was stopped.

One of two things happened:
1. Prigozhin was approached by US intelligence with billions of dollars ($6.2B to be exact) to betray Putin. Prigozhin told Putin of the offer and, together, they hatched a plan to feign a coup d’etat. Prigozhin had to put the wheels in place before the final payment was wired...when he got near Moscow the money cleared. Now he splits the money with Putin.

2. The blood Prigozhin was worried about shedding was his own and the Wagner troops. With Russia defending Moscow from the north, and the Chechens on their tails from the south, Prigozhin knew they were put into a kill box and had to negotiate his way out quickly.

You had to wonder by mid-day Russian time why there had not already been massive air strikes on this convoy, it was in a known location out in the open with stated hostile intent.
Imagine for example the fate of an NRA convoy between Pittsburgh and Martinsburg WV having issued an ultimatum against the U.S. government.
On point number 1...I suspect if Priggy betrayed the CIA like that, they will have the means of repatriating the money. What can be wired and given can be wired and taken away!

Looks like the “coup” could actually be a disguised flanking maneuver by Wagner Group.
