Lukashenka agreed with Prigozhin to stop military convoys
According to the press service of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, having enlisted the support of Vladimir Putin, spent the whole day negotiating with the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.
As a result, the parties came to a mutually beneficial agreement, after which the movement of armed persons of the Wagner company on Russian territory was stopped.

In a revolution, where the parties are very belligerent against each other and their disagreements and demands remain very distant, no agreement for peace or ceasefire will be long-lasting. What the parties do during a cease-fire or peace agreement, is regroup and rearm and plan again.
It ain’t over till it’s over, and in Russia, nothing is ever over.
Then Prigozhin is a dead man walking. Putin will assassinate him as soon as he gets a chance to do so.

There is reason to believe Prigozhin has become the most popular political figure in Russia in recent months.
If Prigozhin succeeds in forcing Putin to remove Shoigu and Gerasimov without major bloodshed Prigozhin likely becomes even more popular among the Russian people.
Putin and his circle may decide the best course is to reach an accommodation with Prigozhin and sacrifice Shoigu and Gerasimov.

Maybe this is one big show that gives Putin an "out" to withdraw all of the Russian troops from Ukraine without having it look like a "retreat". Otherwise, it doesn't make sense for Yevgeny Prigozhin to stop short of Moscow.
