Selected Reserve are the Reserve armed forces who aren’t National Guard. I know there’s SELRES Navy and Army Reserve forces who can be mobilized. Not sure of the other branches.

McCarthy...if the American people had been in the FBI briefing I just received about Swallwell, they’d be horrified...so why is Swallwell still in Congress?
Comer, McCarthy, Mace, etc etc...if the American people saw the evidence I saw concerning Hunter Biden, they’d be horrified...so why aren’t they exposing all of it? He’s never going to go to jail for anything, that’s a fact. No denying that. But at least let the people know what he’s done.
Musk, etc...the FBI colluded with the administration and twitter to censor American’s...the FBI is a thing...the FBI can’t nor does anything...an employee of the FBI met with twitter, etc and demanded censorship...Who in the FBI was in those meetings and sending those emails?
The FBI conducted 100s of thousands of illegal searches and inquiries on citizens and ex-girlfriends(apparently), the committee hearings make for great theater for the rubes, what will be done about it? Nothing. They’ll get even more money to do more sh*t, next year.

The point is - Joe is 80 and he cares about like three people. He’s gotten every foreign policy wrong for 40 yrs. If it buys his boy protection, he’ll sell any Policy. Everyone that has worked with him will tell you he dealing behind the scenes.
Total time used to be eight years between active duty and IRR. I believe that is still the case, but then again, I’ve been retired for quite awhile now.
Each SELRES Reserve branch has a personnel center responsible for advertising orders available for voluntary mobilization. That’s where you’d see requests for specific specialties. Those who receive those type orders are individual augmentees, which are different from entire Reserve units being mobilized.
In Desert Storm 1990, I had been retired from military for 6 years. Got a letter alerting me I may be activated and to get my shit together...will, POA, uniform up to date etc. Never was called back.
That I remember, but it is the military terminology and distinctions in time that I do not.
I thought it was 4 years active, ETS, 2 years IRR and then 2 years something else.

Yeah, there was a video “released” today of a Wagner convoy running from Moscow to Belarus. The real problem is this, as if Wagner gets mixed up with the Polish military, best put your head between your knees and kiss your *** goodbye.
I have a feeling that this war is going to end around September or October as its just too taxing during the 2024 elections. They want this out of everyone’s memories.
The Russians also are starting to counterattack, making limited gains on the eastern Ukrainian front and pushing Ukrainians toward the Oskil river. There are also reports of Ukrainian platoons being surrounded and surrendering. If this continues, NATO will have to put an end to it or go all in, and they’re not going to go all in unless Russia does something CLEARLY reprehensible.
The problem that will emerge is that Russia doesn’t trust the West as far as it can spit, thanks to numerous spiked peace treaties. I think you might see a BRICS brokered peace treaty with sanctions for non-participation or something like that. Probably brokered by China. I hope it will because another year of this and the Ukrainian army will have one guy out in the middle of a field dodging artillery, and his name will probably be Zelensky.
I don’t think fillers tighten up his face the way it appears. At least to me.

When you look at pics of him during his time as VP, doing a Sunday show and then now, it isn’t the same guy, IMHO.
Normally, all initial enlistment contracts are for eight years. During that period you can have a mix of active, reserve, and IRR until the eight years have been completed at which time (if you haven’t reenlisted) you are mustered out of the military and your service records are transferred to national archives from whatever service component you were in.
The policy was just declared today. The DOD has to send out directives which gets passed down the chain. There are exemptions in the Ready Reserve program, so who is called up and who is deployed gets bureaucratic. Maybe write your Representative or Senators?
