Fox News Chief Political Analyst Brit Hume called former President Donald Trump a failed president on Monday.
Hume issued his condemnatory statement in response to a video from conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who suggested that people oppose Trump due to his success as president.
“If Trump was such a failed president, why are they doing everything they possibly can to prevent a second term of Trump?” said Kirk.
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe they don’t want a repeat of a failed presidency. Just guessing here,” responded Hume.

Maybe Brett will bring Brent and Charlie on and they could debate it
Hey Brit, I got two words for ya and they ain’t happy birthday!
Hume is past his prime... way past.
Here's the logic of Hume.Is that clear enough for you?
Did you have to struggle with the meaning of that sentence?
Not only do you put your foot in your mouth, you aren't man enough to be contrite about it.
What is this “Fox News”? Aliens from planet Soros?
Well, Hume sure figured wrong on this one! Looks like he could maybe be replaced with a halfway intelligent 3rd grader.
It is time for AI to analyze Presidents for success...would be interesting. Journos with heads up their arses sure are incapable.
Failed journalist calling the most persecuted president in US history “failed”. Wow. That takes guts.
Maybe they don’t want a repeat of a failed presidency.
So they voted for Biden and are very happy with it huh.
Brit Hume the Biden in the news room.
Trump only failed the Republican and uniparty establishment, which Hume is a mouthpiece for, by refusing to turn a blind eye to the corruption going on in Ukraine and starting a proxy war with Russia.
Brit Hume? Zat some kinda watah filta?
“Neil Cavuto, Bret Baier and Brit Hume are all Uniparty RINO hacks.”
I stopped watching them early in the Obama years. It’s not just what they report and how they report it, it’s what they fail to report.
Useless all.
Don’t forget Paul Ryan on the board at Fox. Sadly not the waterboard...
Trump was not an experienced Washington hand and didn’t have a large team of trusted and experienced advisors and administrators. All he could do was
change the direction the country was going in and make a start. The country needed it and he made a good start.
I meant say Trump gave us a record LOW number of border crossings. That and 700 miles of wall despite the fact he was consistently denied funding to build one.
