Former Attorney General Bill Barr has floated the idea of home detention for Donald Trump should he be convicted of criminal conspiracy or classified documents crimes – raising the prospect of a former president serving time at a gilded prison he terms the 'winter White House.'
Barr made the comment in yet another revealing interview where he spoke about his departure from the Trump White House amid Trump's election overturn effort, and argued the former president was not entitled to 'immunity' during his reelection bid.
Trump's lawyers argued in a new filing to push his trial date in the January 6 case back to 2026.

You make an excellent point. As a lawyer and especially a former AG, his stance should be innocent until proven guilty and nothing more. In a just world, he would disbarred for his actions as AG and now.
“When Barr had a job, his lips were sealed shut.” Before that nobody knew about him. While so employed with Trump he kept his mouth shut and tried to stand on his feet; not lips sealed shut and on his knees as a Bush/Cheney sycophant.
Barr is totally compromised and likely was an Epstein client. Nobody that ugly gets into these government positions without being blackmailed.

I think barr was the biggest knife in Trumps back. Had the balls to say there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn the election. Never looked at the video of the people stuffing the drop boxes or the 1000’s of signed affidavits of people that saw cheating happening. The lady that worked for dominion that saw a lady running stacks of the same ballots through the machine more than once. The videos of ruby and her daughter running ballots pulled from under a table and even running the same stacks through multiple times. Refused to investigate the laptop that he knew was real because he didn’t want it to affect the election. The guy is a big POS. I just hope he gets jail time.
When I saw “Bill Barr Floats” I just kinda stopped reading. Of course he floats. Like a rubber ducky with bagpipes.
What troubles me is the Trump appointees who have turned out to be duplicitous crooked S.o.B.s..... troubles me a LOT.
Either that or their lives/families are being threatened
