Officials are facing increased scrutiny for the emergency response, including why the emergency sirens were not set off and whether closing the roads prevented people from getting to safety.

When they turned south to escape Lahaina, they were met with cones and were told to turn around to Lahaina, which was already burning.
Instead of turning around, they swerved past the cones and escaped to a neighboring town.

With wildfires ravaging West Maui on Aug. 8, a state water official delayed the release of water that landowners wanted to help protect their property from fires. The water standoff played out over much of the day and the water didn’t come until too late.
With leftists policy is a religion and therefor policy is more important than the results the policy is supposed to produce. If a leftist is told to implement a policy or rule they will do it to the letter and the results be damned.
Because the government knows everything, just like blindly following your GPS, or getting the vax, or wearing a mask.

fire and paramedic services are supplemental services and NOT to be relied on in large scale emergencies ( they will be busy defending themselves )

Well, the FBI is involved. We’ll never know the truth. It’s absolutely pathetic that ONLY conflicting information is coming from government. It is intentional, not incompetence. Also notice there are zero government employees that care more about their country than their jobs. There is no one willing to make public the reasons the government response is so horrendous. Everyone one of them are complicit.
So they locked them in a burning city? Sounds like mass murder to me. Disobeying the government will prove very necessary quite often in the not so distant future. Most on the right are terrified when it comes to Disobeying authorities. You’ll have to learn to get over that or the country is finished as you’ve known it.
