Wisconsin Supreme Court flips liberal, creating a ‘seismic shift’

MADISON, Wis. — Standing in the marble-lined rotunda of the state capitol this month, the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s incoming justice raised her right hand, swore to carry out her job “faithfully and impartially” and launched a new, liberal era on a powerful court long dominated by conservatives.

Within days, the new majority stripped duties from the court’s conservative chief justice and fired its administrative director, a conservative former judge who once ran for the court. The abrupt changes prompted the chief justice to accuse her liberal colleagues of engaging in “nothing short of a coup.” Before long, Republican lawmakers threatened to impeach the court’s newest member.

I used to think it was academic institutions as the center of the problem. But more and more, it's the courts.

We’ve already accepted the fact that Wisconsin Politics are going to be very ugly for decades to come. :(

That said, we still have majority republicans (a few of which really ARE Republicans) in both our House and Assembly (Senate), so the really goofy stuff won’t make it to WI SC right off the bat.

They’ve already got one lawsuit filed against them. Expect more to come. :)

We must get rid of these Leftist judges. They have no intention of being “impartial.”

Let’s that impeachment takes place, and soon, or else Wisconsin will go from bad to worse in a very short amount of time.

They took control of academia and now an entire generation of lawyers and legal professionals are leftists.

Clearly a coup, a coup instigated by Dane and Milwaukee counties who have no regard for the values of conservatives in rural areas of the state, and executed by Democrat justices exploiting a one vote majority as if they controlled every seat on the court.

It is long past time to resurrect the “Missing 13th Amendment” and ratify it once and for all.

The academic institutions are what indoctrinated people to vote for these judges.

The courts have become much more political than they are judicial ... a big problem with regard to separation of powers in a Republic.

Now Wisconsin can devolve into progressive idiocy just like its neighbor Illinois.

Hey Wisconsin. You get what you pay for when it comes to governing. I hope next year if you citizens are crying about your exploding crime wave and broken economy remember today.

Trump can chalk off Wisconsin, election fraud is now legal as long as the RATS are behind it.

"I used to think it was academic institutions as the center of the problem.
But more and more, it's the courts."

But, but, supreme court chief justice and spineless cretin roberts declared
there to be no political biased judges.

“threatened to impeach”

Note “threatened”.

In the end they do nothing because they talk themselves out of it.

Too skeery.

The Commies have no such scruples. They just go ahead and commit the atrocity. And get away with it.

I had high hopes for Roberts in the beginning. Needless to say I’ve been largely disappointed with a few exceptions.

That dirty word “liberal” is obsolete. Leftist or even left leaning are more in step. “Liberal” sounds like the types who used to stand with conservatives once in a while and say “we are all united on this issue.”

When was the last time we saw that?
Stacy Keach as Mike Hammer: “The last time that happened was about the last time Dolly Parton saw her toes.”
