Around 3 in 10 Americans still believe ivermectin is an effective treatment for covid. What’s more, few place significant trust in any form of news media or official institution to accurately convey information about health topics, from covid treatments and vaccines to reproductive health issues, a new poll from KFF shows.
The confusion about what’s true — and who’s telling the truth — is of critical importance to public health, experts in political science said. “Misinformation leads to lives being lost and health problems not being resolved,” Bob Blendon, a professor emeritus of public health at Harvard, said in an interview. Blendon was not associated with the survey.
Such misinformed beliefs are strongly held by only a sliver of the population, according to a KFF poll out today. Nearly a third of the 2,007 respondents said the dewormer ivermectin was definitely or probably an effective treatment for Covid-19. (It’s not: Numerous randomized controlled trials have found otherwise.) A mere 22% thought ivermectin was definitely ineffective.

It’s jaw dropping how many “medical” institutions now insist that a man can really “become a woman.”

Regarding the medical establishment, I have gone from general ambivalence to visceral distrust.
Last year I found a PA that along with the entire practice doesn’t buy all the crap. She went off all about how much she distrusts the CDC. I knew I was in the right place.
I am in the minority to believe the truth that Ivermectin along with a cocktail of vitamins and supplement does work to cure Covid.
The CDC has become something between a bad joke and a whore.
Total crap article - absolutely uninformed (or willfully blind) on ivermectin.
There is light enough for those who wish to see and darkness enough for those who are otherwise inclined.
And for having omitted that, I'll never believe a single word that comes from them.

WRT the medical profession it no doubt started unnoticed way before when your family physician asked if there were any firearms in your home. The AMA is currently a sad joke and an embarrassment.
This article goes very well with one I read recently from a journalist/”medical expert” who graduated from college (in a non-medical field) less than 10 years ago. She was criticizing all the “cretins” out there who questioned the safety of vaccines. “They’re safe, of course.” Apparently she isn’t old enough or aware enough to have any idea of how many medications have been withdrawn from the market in the last half-century.

At least he’s somewhat older than the typical media “medical expert”/reporter these days who, on Covid, chastised/vilified/called for the unvaccinated to be put into camps. They were typically journalism majors under 30 often pronouncing their judgment that experienced physicians who put their careers on the line were irresponsible, narcissistic quacks endangering their patients with misinformation.
Covid is medical terrorism and domestic propaganda.

With very few exceptions, if the government or their owned mainstream media presstitutes says it, it’s almost guaranteed to be false.
I read here today there were 4 CoVID deaths across the nation in a week.
My first question is about the source. When they don’t tell me who they are, I look over their posted materials to see if I can guess. For this bunch, I’m guessing KFF stands for “Kommunism For the Future.” That may not be correct. Does anyone know who this bunch is?
If this woman thinks all approved medications are safe, I’ll see if I can find an old bottle of Thalidomide lying around.
