Quotes from the CBS linked news report:

(1) "U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell issued an order requiring Twitter not to disclose the warrant to anyone, including Trump."

(2) "Prosecutors did not include any details about the nature of the messages, including whether they were drafts or messages sent from Trump's account, messages he received or both."

(3) "Prosecutors sought "all business records and subscriber information" pertaining to Trump's account, including identity and contact information; all usernames associated with his account; devices used to log in or access the account; privacy and account settings; and communications between Twitter and any person regarding the account, according to the warrant."

(4) "Twitter was also required to produce "all content, records, and other information relating to communications sent from or received by" Trump's account from October 2020 to January 2021, including the content of all tweets created, drafted, favorited or retweeted by Trump, as well as the content of all direct messages his account either sent or received, or "stored in draft form."

So who leaked this and why is Smith trying this case in public and why can he try this case in public and then try to muzzle Trump.

And how can he make noise about taining a jury pool that he is actively trying to taint - not that it isn't already tainted being all in for whetever the swamp wants to do anyway.

It is obvious we need to demolish the DC circuit. I would give all criminal defendants in DC the right to choose another venue anywhere else in the country - their choice.

Pretty sure Trump himself has commented on this awhile back. Maybe this is more detailed?

How very totalitarian of the Government, how very 1984 of them.

Can also envision the Persecutor (spelled correctly) bringing new charges of wrong-think and wrong-speak if President Trump failed to thumbs down of block someone due to a tweet deemed unacceptable by the regime.

Can’t the SW also then extend to any account in Trumps email list, and all their contacts in their lists? I think it has been done.

This is a well known strategy used by politicians and public figures - especially democrats and other leftist bomb throwers.

They attack the opposition, making clear statements about an issue that panders to their followers and financial backers.

When called on it they backpedal a little - but no more than necessary to disarm critics.

But the sycophants who support them know they meant what they originally said and that any half-hearted “apology” is meaningless pap.

Yes, Trump, trying to overthrow the government of the United States, depends on tweets to get the job done.

Certanly, all attempted modern government coups planners use twitter to alert the entire intellgience agencies of what is being planned.

That kind of absolute, craven stupidity on the part of Jack Squat just shows that they have zero on Trump to begin with and are desperately fishing around for any morsel.

What is their next step? Question his grandkids?

If he really wants Trump’s tweets, they are all available in a book from Amazon.com. In fact, people can choose between several books containing Trump’s tweets. He can read Trump’s tweets in the privacy of his own home and spare the rest of us his fantasies that somehow these tweets interfered with the election process.

It is a stretch to say that Trump’s tweets interfered with the election process. I can think of any number of ways someone can interfere with elections, but they all involve actual physical acts meant to change the number of ballots cast for each candidate.

If tweets interfere with the election process, then those annoying political ads that multiply like roaches months before any election are especially interfering. Isn’t election interference the primary purpose of those ads which are designed to persuade voters to vote a certain way?

It’s not the tweets they’re after, those are public. It’s the direct messages which are not public.

Exactly, the USA is not going the way of the USSR or the GDR (run by White Europeans) or Red China (run by Asians). Rather, it is going the way of Haiti, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe.
