New York is in a state of decline — with a worsening quality of life tied to sky high costs of housing, rampant crime and an unrelenting migrant crisis, according to a new poll.
Fifty-seven percent of 804 registered voters who participated in the Siena College Poll released Tuesday said the quality of life in the Empire State is getting worse, while 27% said it was the same and just 14% said it was better.
“A huge majority of Republicans, a large majority of independents and a plurality of Democrats all say the quality of life in New York is getting worse,” said Siena College poster Steven Greenberg said.
“In fact, a majority of virtually every demographic group – pluralities of Democrats, liberals and New York City voters – say things are getting worse.

Was in Hells Kitchen several times (Midtown Manhattan/West side) this summer for some work.
I could not believe the number of rats. Literally everywhere, nearly all the time. Better in the day, but at night, it was absolutely disgusting.

The bad part is they’re leavin’ today and taking their voting habits with them to some other state.
Someone should speak to those on the southern border and ask them how it has affected their quality of living over the past decade or so. And especially over the past two years.
I have no sympathy for those in NY. They begged for this. They got it.
The Metro Area of NYC has 15 Million Ballots to overrule the rest of the State.
MOST of other-than-NYC folks in NY are MegaMAGA.
It’s just that election thievery and ballot fabrication is at all levels.

thank you for pointing that out. I am beginning to believe that even in California, people do NOT vote for the government they get. Yes, there are a lot of dumbass libs, karens, minority voting-blocs, etc. etc.
But elections now, especially in places like California and New York, are such a manipulated hairball of non-enforceable allowances and exceptions, there is NO WAY to confirm their validity.
The Democrats want the cities they run in the crapper. The worse life is, the more they like it. The people at the top are getting rich on the grants to help the homeless and the homelessness are getting no help at all. Their poverty and suffering are a gold mine to the elites.
They asked for it. They declared themselves a sanctuary city.
Live with it.
North Texas is heading to 8 million residents. Builders continue to push east, west, and north to keep up with the demand.
